@@aveongreen2368first of all. Xavi won the league last year. With the pretty much the same team even worse. At least in terms of defense nothing has changed. But we see the team conceding record breaking goals. Girona with 50 millions budget team beats Xavi twice and team conceding 8 goals. I am expecting team to get better but the team is getting worse. Even when they won a game, it is because the opponents don’t score their chances. Many games we were relying on Ter Stegen to save us. Therefore, I think it is time to change.

Laporta won’t find many managers capable of working with limited resources like Xavi.

@@316bassin The budget was WAY worse with Koeman and yet Barca fans ran him out. He didn't get 45m for Lewandowski, 55m for Torres, 50m+ for Raphinha and 50m for Kounde.
@@segagenesis7708Koeman was on track for us to miss playing in Europe. Xavi took over that team and brought us back to life. No comparison between the two.

NO one said they are willing to join Barca, ok, Nagelsmann wasn't even contacted only Flick was and Flick which has been documented said he loves the rich history of FC Barcelona and loves the city as a potential place to live but in terms of coaching he prefers not coach now because genius he also understands and knows what is going on at FC Barcelona

@@Terminator_Barca Well Laporta better not act rash or be impulsive because his ego cannot write cheques the club can't cash. Plus everything going at FC Barcelona in terms of the financial woes and mismanagement of the club has been well documented way before Xavi came back as coach and also Laporta's failure to really have any vision or concrete plans has also been well documented. So what Xavi has said about FC Barcelona finances alot of football pundits, experts, and analysts have said many times and with more harsh tone.

Laporta was somewhat able to get away with treating Koeman like this, because Koeman was from the older generation. Xavi comes from the generation that a lot of these younger fans grew up on. Whether Xavi has his own issues or not, Laporta won't be able to get away with treating Xavi like this. Personally, I don't think Xavi was ever ready for the job and if you can't make over 250m Euros worth of players work then you don't need to be there.
Lots of injuries this year combined with Xavi's slow plodding attack style of attack doomed Barca this year.

@@lalo38th41Tbh not all injuries are equal. I think ter stegen injury was the worst and derailed barca too much.
But not being able to replace Busquets and get a quality Defensive Mid in order to compete at the level we saw last season is what cost us a lot this season in my opinion. Xavi even said it himself how that position is crucial to the way Barcelona are supposed to be playing.
Xavi did quite well considering the circumstances for his 2 years, but his bias towards Spanish players is so so obvious and really annoying. He’s like not even trying to hide it and this is detrimental for future of Barca, personally would prefer if he leaves
Bias towards young Spanish players, perhaps. But apart from Roque, who can you point to? Most of the veterans are non-Spanish.

We need new manager becuase we need manager that actually let all players play and get more minutes we don't even know he stays or not Laporta is in charge not Xavi thats up to Laporta to decide not Xavi himself i think we should go for Marcelo Gallardo not Rafa Marquez its not the same as being manager to Barca senior team Barca Athletic is hall different level and lower divison to play in Barca senior team in La Liga is harder and wil get very difficult to adapt to it is much biggger demands aswell.

As a fan of the club I think the bigger issues are the leadership and the economic problems. The coach could be changed and it might improve but we need a better strategy than taking on debt indiscriminately.
Xavi is far from being the only issue at Barca, Laporta is slowly becoming a disaster. And Xavi might have been in the UCL finals if it wasn’t for a singular red card.

It's Laporta's fault. How can he beg Xavi to stay on when Xavi said he was leaving then get mad at him because he was realistic with the expectations to the fans and media?? It is ridiculous. It's doesn't mean they are going to shoot low on their goals. They are still going out next season to win La Liga and the CL. Xavi took a pay cut, he couldnt count with pedri, gavi, and another key players during the season and finishing 2nd is not a desaster.
Wasting their time. Xavi has been given ample time already and still fails to live up to Barca's stature. If something doesn't work for you, you change it. So sticking with Xavi is pointless because realistically, he won't win the league next season against Mbappe's Real. Barca needs to adapt to modern football and go for coaches like Hansi Flick, Tuchel, or something. The team needs new ideas, not this Guardiola/Cruyff philosophy.
