The form of a living thing is not entirely determined by DNA. Environmental factors like nutrition and "uses" of DNA also make differences. In this lecture, Dr. Yoshida clearly explains the basics of epigenetics, one of the hottest topics of life sciences.
This program offers UTokyo graduate students to give an active learning oriented lecture. Through the opportunity, learners are expected to gain specialized knowledge from lecturers, and also each lecturer can cultivate their teaching skills to be active in academic fields as an educator in the near future.
