I wish schools in America made you clean the classroom like that. I feel like littering in America would not be as bad if we teach kids to be responsible and respect cleanliness.
And there wouldn’t be cockroaches
My school’s in SEA, they made us clean the room too. I don’t know if most Asian schools are like this.
@@Mateo-uj2cw cockroaches will exist regardless if there's food or not. it's just they're attracted to it.
@@lowkeyhighkey8785 we got no cockroaches in German schools.
@@kirimvtf I never said that cockroaches are in schools??
I was an exchange student in Thailand nearly 20 years ago.
It was the best years of my life. I miss the people, my friends, learning a new language, coming to terms with things I was uncomfortable with. Cherish this, even the boring days. Make the most of it. Spend time with the people you meet. Keep in touch with all these people, actively.
God, I wish time travel was a thing.

I always wanted to know what a Japanese school was like as an American and just seeing this video it looks so cool and pretty and comparing a Japanese school to a American school there are a lot of differences. So just seeing this makes me wanna go to japan and study there. And love your videos. 💗🔔
Wow, I appreciate it, I’ll make another video about Japanese High School soon, will be glad if you watch it)))
I go to a Japanese school in kanagawa and it’s very different there because there is so many students and also the rules are very strict like no talking in class during lunch to
wtf bro, you live in the most modern country in the world and say like "Japanese school is better than american". Be grateful that you were lucky to be born in the states.
@@yuryarakelove5322Calm down? We are grateful to have been born and raised here, but it’s not any fun.
@@magneto3596 I mean America is really big and can depend on the state and school. I agree though he should calm down. I was just mentioning how you said "it's not any fun"
Riding to school on that route seems like such a vibe. I understand that it would get really exhausting after doing it a couple times but it still looks really beautiful.
I know it seems boring, but this is as real as it gets, wish i got to experience it.
it's beautiful. the tranquility, the set responsibilities without whining, the aesthetics to it all..

I’ve been really fascinated in Japan recently, so it was really cool seeing what you guys do in a Japanese high school. Thank you for this experience! I really enjoyed it! (Btw I’m Australian! 🇦🇺)
I am a Japanese student.
I often watch Vlogs posted by Japanese students about their school life in other countries, but this was the first time for me to watch Vlogs posted by foreigners about their school life in Japan.
It’s a nice video. I always wanted to have a school life in Japan. Through this video, I have a glimpse and helped me. Thanks 😁
I've always been interested in Japan! Thanks for the tour of the school.
Man this is a great transition. We are planning to move to Japan in the near future, like next year and one thing that gets me nervous is my son going to school over there. Is there any kind of advice or words of wisdom you can share about such a transition from one country to another? Thank you
As a Japanese person, I can give you one piece of advice: it is rare for Japanese people to meet people from other countries, so you will not make friends unless you act on your own. So it is important to talk to Japanese people yourself first.
(google translate)
@@ameana_hibiki We did notice that when we were in Japan last year. But it makes sense. I think this is great advice and something we will have to take into consideration especially for my son. Thank you so much for the advice I really appreciate it.
I am a Japanese student and I was very surprised by this video! Because it was a class only for kids from foreign countries. This is just my experience, but I've never seen a class like this. So you should keep in mind that not all Japanese schools are like this. So I think it's best to go to an international school. I lived abroad as a child and attended a Japanese school there. I was very happy to go there. Because I made friends who lives abroad but speaks the same language as me. It was a great relief for me to make friends who spoke the same language. So when I think of your son, I think he will enjoy life in Japan more if he goes to an international school rather than attending a local Japanese school!
@@09-kn3vm That is something to think about and the advice sounds like a good plan. Thank you for your insight on this, it will really help us when setting up our son with this type of atmosphere so he doesnt feel to left out. Much appreciated.

im from romania so seeing a country wher the school is this clean and students behave this good is inhuman
When you have gypsies in your country, it is almost impossible to be this clean.
as a belgian, I wish we had the same school system as Japan. here they only care if you can follow along, and give you a paper accordingly. no class responsibilities, no club activities, no uniform(ity), no basic manners (arguing with teachers 24/7 so they quit), ...
Then bully enters the classroom 😂
I am from Romania too !!! I mean..my highschool doesn t even have toilet paper cuz the ooga boogas from there just throw it and do other stuff so the janitors don t even bother putting new toilet papers anymore...And I understand them. Back in 2004, I visited Japan and as a sixteen-year-old I had a chance to see what are high schools there like. Your video reminded me of that. I remember the kids used to ask me swear words in my native language haha Also, I was very surprised to hear the classical music , instead of a typical bell sound.
Man I'm gonna cry to get school like this🥺

Bros so majestic (sorry had to mention it) but yea also cool to see how a high school experience is at first-hand for a national japanese student / citizen
I completed my education in Italy and it seems very different. First of all, we have 5 or 6-hour lessons with 5-minute intervals between each lesson. I attended what is called a classical lyceum. The subjects we study at this type of school are both humanities (Italian literature, English literature, Latin, ancient Greek, History and Philosophy) and scientific ( Maths, Physics Chemistry and Biology ).
During each day of lessons, including Saturdays, we study a miscellany of subjects. Obviously, we follow a calendar so we know which books to bring from home. A typical day might consist of: first hour = Italian. Second hour= Latin. third hour = history. Fourth hour = Mathematics. Fifth hour = English (some study German or French as a foreign language especially if they live near the border with Austria or France. In my city Trieste, there is also the option of Slovenian). Between the second and third hour we take a 15-minute break to eat what we brought from home even though most high schools have a paid bar. There are two additional subjects from which one can, however, be exempted: Teaching of the Catholic religion for example if one belongs to a different religion and Gymnastics practised in the gym for health reasons. High school lasts 5 years at the end of which each student must face a series of written exams and an oral exam that covers all the subjects studied (the Maturity Exam). It should be noted that each professor gives students a considerable amount of homework which normally requires 5 to 6 hours of home study. Students are periodically questioned by each professor and a written exam is taken 3 times a month for Italian, Mathematics, Greek and Latin. The other subjects require oral exams only. Students DO NOT clean classrooms and do not wear uniforms. Cleaning is entrusted to the janitors.
Man that's kinda too much isn't?
Don't you guys have any breakdowns from time to time
@@marclast9564If u think that’s too much u don’t want to know about the Asian school system😅😅😅. Countries like India, china , korea are basically torturing their students. And yet breakdowns only happen in the western countries. I guess we don’t have time for breakdowns 😅😅
@@marclast9564 It's not too much, Italian school system is really solid and one of the most powerful. Usually is 5 hours per day if you have saturday, or 6 if you don't have saturday. Btw after the 5 hours (the end of the lessons are at 13:00 (1 PM) or 14:00 (2 PM) ) you can go home and eat with your family, then you do homeworks and do your hobbies/hang out with friends or whatever you like. Usually there are a lot of interrogation (if we wants to call them exams? idk they aren't really exams, maybe tests?) throughout the years. Th years is split in quatrimesters (4 months) and at the end of it you have the test that will give you the final mark of that 4 months, in the second quatrimestre (after 8 months) you get your final mark for that year. So usually the professors makes tests or just call you to test what you know and give you a lot of marks, from bad ones to good ones and they can give you a more accurately mark for the end of the year.
The thing is that the system in Italy it's not only about making geniuses (like india or china, where they fail and over billions of ppl only tens of them can go out and do something good) but they try to educate you for the best, educate you to study well and not just overstudy to get good grades, and they educate you as a person in the society.
Last thing: you can check out for youself how many Italian there are out there doing godlike research and how many italians are at the head of research groups, European companies and how many Italians inventions or discovery were made. Unlucky for Italy they often go to work outside of it because we have good education and bad jobs opportunity :/
@@marclast9564 hehehe, i am in france but it's kinda similar, just as an exemple the worst day for me is : thursday, I begin at 8:10 am, then a 2 hour class awaits us (french), then a 15 min break, 1 more hours in a different class (english), then we move to an other one and we do 1 more hour of euro english... 30 min break to ea (it's 12 :10 am), then 1 hour of german, after that 2 hours of sport and FINALLY 2 hours of french (again)... And you are dead, it's 5:30 pm and you have to take the train to go home (in france it's commun for it to be late : from 15 min to 1 hour...) Then if the train is on time (miracle) you are home at 8:30 pm and you just have the ton of homework from the day to do (I'd say to be a good student you have to work between 5-8 hours the evening and the week-end to do revision and your homeworks... (in math, one test evry two/three weeks and in french one test every 3 weeks too) So good luck to have a social life with that... It's very mentally and physically tiring.
This looks to be an International school in Japan, they have some different rules and such from an actual Japanese high school. You can see for instance students are wearing Tennis shoes in the classroom, in an actual Japanese High school you would have Uwabaki that you would change into at the entrance to the school.
International Schools are in Japan and are usually for Military service member's children, dignitaries children and like such.
the classroom atmosphere looks like its peaceful
Really you have good daily routine...

Damn, that school looked super rundown honestly. It reminded me of schools in Ukraine actually. I grew up in a small town in Ontario, Canada. Our school was a lot more care for. Thanks for sharing my dude. I especially liked the shoe locker and rooftop thingy. Definitely like anime
The nature on the way to school is soooo beautiful and serene...bet it makes anyone more calm and at peace watching it and go through it.
But yeah driving 35-40 minutes on a bike can suck...at least you're putting in some exercise hehe. :)
There are many differences Japanese schools and American schools for example the hygiene and how clean it is, it amazes me. Although that might be because I attend a public school in California and there is no such things as indoor hallways haha. But one of the things in this video I noticed that it’s not really different from American schools(well maybe just my school, I haven’t heard anything very bad so far, my school is pretty calm) is because of its students. They’re just like all of us. Teens being teens.
I'm impressed how accurately Japanese highschools are portrayed in anime. the corridors, the classrooms, the little signs with the room's name. very cool.
Ese será un sueño que nunca podré cumplir y es la de a ver estudiado en una escuela en Japón, que disciplina, orden y limpieza

So club really do exists. Sounds fun
Makes me think how different life can be .
Still people says japanese students have lot of pressure .
I just pass out .
I used to go school 8 am return 6 am ( no PE class or sports just lectures of important subjects),did homework until dinner , still homework were so huge , and again repeat same ,motivation was to beat classmate in score .
In many Japanese schools the majority of students are in clubs, with some staying until 7 pm each night. They joke that the small number of students who are not in a club are members of the 'Going Home Club'!
Don't clubs exist everywhere?in the high school I'm currently attending in the U.S I am in a modeling club, we host shows and compete with other schools and talent shows everything.
@@WinniePooh33 you do have clubs there but I am talking about here in India.
Competition is really high here and reservation also makes more difficult .
(In India there is caste based system called reservation for admision process for every further education after high school ex - I recently score 521 marks out of 720 in NEET for bachelors of medicine and bachelors of surgery (MBBS), and my friend who belong to reserved caste got 320 marks ,so I didn't get admision in MBBS but he got )
Well India is only country to have reservation system .
I can do nothing about that all I can do is to score highest cause you need to be in top students in country to achieve further education being in average is same as failed student.
That's what teacher told me in my high school when I asked her why don't we have clubs and other extra activities .she said your whole life is remaining for that but this is the time where you need to just study and study .
Sorry for such long chat 😞 .
я вижу ты русский) всегда мечтал в Японии побывать, как ты там учишься? Точнее как ты попал в эту школу в совершенно другой стране?))
Wow, its so different, I mean ngl I didnt think itd look and be like in the animes and pop culture cause its always exaggerated and stuff but it look the EXACT same, it looks so calm
our school of nepal can't even be compared😂😭
This is so much different than the US. the biggest differences is everyone looks happy this is a stark contrast from my school which a 2nd year/sophomore committed suicide on campus recently and its not even the first time someone has since I've been at my school.
Why do they commit suicide? In all my time at school and college, there have never been such cases
For this individual have no idea I never met them but in general people are just really sad. My thoughts are that most people around this age learn a lot about controlling behavior from their parents so people used controlling behavior on this individual causing them to rather kill themself than interact with controlling people.
sometimes it's as low as as 13-14 years old..from my experience in american public schools.
it could be various reasons too, it's really depressing.
Suicide and unhappiness are everywhere in the world. Japan is known for high suicide rates.
What? You do know Japan is known from school life to work have high suicide rates due to the depressing work system.
When u said my bike is my best friend that made me smile because i always say the same thing however it's a nice video , " gambatte "

Seems like Japanese Schools have given the students much liberty to use gadgets, although they collect their smartphones. Their uniforms seemed to be crushed and little fashioned. Each of these is actually an indisciplinary action if made by the students in schools of India. The students are strictly not allowed to bring any electric gadgets in most of the public and private schools. Proper dressing should be made by the students alongwith proper haircut and hygienity, ofcourse. However, the positive side is that there aren't as many students in a classroom as compared to an Indian Classroom.
