  • After watching RUclips shorts the other day I came upon a video comparing the new Martinez hammer alongside the new TBIII Stiletto Hammer. It was mentioned that the Ti-Bone 3's hammer face/head could not be removed. Challenge accepted! Armed with my tools, my wit, and my 15oz TBIII Stiletto Hammer I will find out if it is possible to remove the face of this tool!

Guys. If it's got blue loctite, or you suspect it's got blue loctite, you need to hit it with some heat from a heat gun or torch. And things like this always have blue loctite.

How is the rubber grip holding up? I spoke to Stiletto and was told below:
we do not re-grip the Stiletto handles. Regripping the
hammers is not an option for repair. The options will be to send in your hammer for evaluation. Once the hammer is evaluated a technician will reach out with the below options.
    • Replace under warranty
    • Offer a new replacement at prorated cost. ( this decision is determined once the hammer has been evaluated)
    • Offer a new hammer a cost.
All Stiletto products are covered by a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, with proof of purchase. During the warranty period, Stiletto will replace or repair a defective product with a new or reconditioned part or product, depending on the availability at the time of replacement.

The grip has held up so far. Although I havent had it a month yet.
if you read on their website what tjeir hammer is aupposed to be used for most of the things youre hitting if youre doing demo or renovation, you voided the warranty

Hey Dylan, find the appropriate torx bit and put it in a normal impact. That’s how I did it when I was a carpenter. Plus I believe from factory they come with blue locktite on the threads.

Their website says, The new ones are 7/32 Hex. And they have 2 lock washers and that you shouldnt use an impact because somehow the impact tightens the lockwashers.

Precisely why I did the research and spoke to the tool repair section of my local tool store; to be able to share it with everyone on this video!

Hey Joe! its been a long time. How are you doing?
I didnt really want to add any heart to it as I dont understand titaniums properties when heated. If it made it more brittle, I wouldnt want a hammer that is apt to explode when I use it lol.
