The offense before Brown didn't score ANY points in the two weeks prior, and looked completely overmatched against the "worst team in the league" (the Patriots).
By the same logic you can ask Eberflus has been HC for THREE YEARS and they still keep him? The real problem is you can replace Eberflus with a fart and the situation would be better. There's no reason to wait for Eberflus to get better after THREE YEARS - he's getting worse, not learning, losing the team's respect, poor time management, poor replay review decisions, etc. There's nothing to lose this season to make Thomas Brown the interim HC.
@KurtKupitz There's a shit ton to lose. You risk trashing the defensive scheme and breaking Brown by throwing everything on his plate way to fucking fast. And for what? At this point the playoffs would be a miracle so what is the point?
Not gonna lie, not only was with watching games. I was even done playing Madden because the Bears were so depressing. The fact there’s a coach out there on our team that actually has passion and holds himself and his players accountable put a small glimmer of light in the football world
Exactly brother. I've been saying the same exact thing. He had one game playcalling which was a loss. He was better than Waldron but most people are. Bears fans haven't learned yet about first time Head Coaches.
It’s more to it than that. The guys have been saying there was no attention to detail in practice and it showed on the field. The biggest difference I noticed is he isn’t afraid to run between the tackles on the goal line like Waldron. That cost two games, more if you consider the impact of the Washington loss.
@@Joseph-gm3qmflus has cost his team two losses maybe 3 this yr. Brown is intriguing..let's see how he does rest of yr..but his offense put us in position to beat GB until a flus happened 😂
The franchise is shit because fans know what a real HC looks like? I’m guessing the franchise is shit because the franchise thinks Eberflus/Nagy/Trestman are what a HC looks like.
Why did he leave a job as assistant head coach with his good friend , on a Sb winning squad , with a veteran hall of fame qb, to go to a team the bears completely handicapped, Carolina panthers , with a 5’10 qb?
Would like to point out that as the UW running back coach in 2014 he helped set the single season rushing record for the badgers with 2500 yards from Melvin gordon
Here's My Wish/Christmas List for Chicago HCs! 1. Ben Johnson 2. Brian Daboll. If Giants fire him! 3. Kliff Kingsbury 4. I'd look into Tom Brady and see if he wanted to chance it. He ran the Patriots lol. If they go the College Route? 1. Lincoln Riley 2. Dabo Sweeney 3. Ryan Day. IMO? Everything would be on the table and for them to keep Eberflus is why i don't trust Poles! He has not built a top tier Offense line. But manages to build a top tier Defense, like his predecessors? This Organization be giving the keys to the wrong ppl and letting them make goofball decisions. Poles should be on the hotseat right along with Eberlose! This guy is on his 3rd OC and Poles the main culprit in this WHOLE MESS. All that talk about building a contender and taking the North, and blah blah! If they grab another buma## Coach for Caleb and them other talented players? Then they need to sit it out and until they can get to somewhere better or somewhere with a competent HC.
I wanted to point out another awesome Matt Everflus stat. He has hired 2 defense coordinators as the Bears head coach, and they have been fired 3 times in the last year. Not easy to do, but Everflus pulled it off
Keep him as OC and hire a real HC. Not sure if the new HC would keep him, but we need a solid stud HC. The organization needs to nail this now before CW is destroyed.

Bears need to not make Brown Head Coach. Brown playcalled ONE game which was a loss. He has NO Head Coach experience. I'm tired of the Nagy's (granted he had a winning record, but he was a horrible playcaller) and Eberflus's (who finds ways to lose). Bears need a young, offensive-minded Head Coach with experience. No more bargain bin coaches, no more first time Head Coaches. Bears fans deserve better.
I wish people would watch the video and then post their ridiculous comments. This video is not about the Bears making him a HC. It's about Pelissario considering him to be a potential HC next year for any team. And whats with all these TB haters? He's been an AHC on a Superbowl Team and he speaks like a HC. Yes he's only had one game play calling under his belt. We have to see how the rest of the year plays out.
No keep him as O.C. and find a Experienced H.D. coach and a D.C.. those cheap owners are idiots, let go of the $ . For GOD sakes , those cheap owners are getting on my nerves, billionaires and so they need to ask themselves do we care or not , spend the $!
The only way I would consider hiring him is if we win some games, we shouldn't because of the offense, Caleb finishes strong, and the offense stays extremely competitive going forward.
Still would have to pay flus’ last 2 years on 5 year contract . Now the cheap way would be making him co head coach with flus so they don’t have to eat that salary and pay another head coach. They can get away with paying brown more than if money but less than hc money
Would make sense to Promote Brown NOW as interim HC and get eberLOSE out of here. Last week's loss is on eberLOSE, end of story. He didn't try for more yards, let alone get the ball on the hash mark Santos prefers to kick from. Promoting Brown for the rest of the season gives us a snapshot of what that would look like. I like Ben Johnson and he doesn't have any HC experience. McASSkey's are a joke so I'm sure they'll make the wrong move either way.
Perfect script. Offense progresses. Flus screws up a game or two and gets fired. Brown takes over as interim head coach. Gets hired next year and the Bears have continuity.

The fact you are even entertaining this guy as a Head Coach is comical. Anyone who thinks this guy is a head coach candidate is an absolute clown. This guy was the OC for the worst team in the league and was the OC for ONE GAME THIS SEASON!!! Wake up people, you are probably the same clowns that thought Eberflus should have been brought back.
Here we go. Same $hit ND did. Kelly leaves, and instead of hiring a real minded coach who can beat the Ohio states, USC, Marshall, NIU, Stanford, they promote Freeman who chokes. Bears organization is a joke. So it wouldn't surprise me. Go get Kingsbury or B. Johnson.

Brown, or maybe Tom Brady.
Thomas Brown is extremely impressive. The word tank isn’t in his vocabulary. Eberlose invents ways to lose.

This statement worries me too!
