Sumito has this natural talent to remain hilarious day after day, it's wild. TONS of content creators do daily or near daily vids, but 99.9999% of them simply cannot maintain the level of energy and lulz that Sumito can. Yeah, the weewee riding from me is next level, but it's also well deserved.
I never watched any of the other creators except a little of Casey but I remember watching pewdiepie religiously for years. There is something so comforting about knowing that no matter how shit your day was at work or (insert annoying aspect of daily life) that there was this one thing you had to look forward to and it may sound corny but it brought an aspect or piece of childhood joy into adulthood. Like knowing that no matter how much things suck, you can rely on the simpsons, southpark, nickelodeon, or adult swim to wash away all the worries of the world and escape your own mind just for a while each and every day. That's some immeasurable peace of mind to some people. I don't watch twitch anymore because of how intrusive their ads are so I haven't really had that same feeling for a couple years. This reminds me that for awhile I've felt that YT could use an option for channels to have more features along the line of actual TV channels. As in, more features that allow for multiple creators to share a channel, visible upload schedules, and options for setting up "shows", "series", "seasons", etc. Then you can have people subscribe to series/creators specifically instead of the entire channel if they don't like every upload. This would probably help out engagement since people would be more eager to jump on things that were more specific and they knew they liked without limiting the channel creators to only certain videos.
I don't know if daily is necessary, but 2-3 uploads a week is solid for this type of format - daily uploads does really need a team IMO if you want regularly decent content. A varied schedule would keep your viewers and self more interested - like the Professor of Memeology bit or other more themed/skit-like 'episodes' could become more regular occurrences, once a month or so. It'd be interesting to see more longform videos of you diving into the nuances of memes and how they relate to society and culture as you observe it from time-to-time.
