best SLS moment was the pickup. Watching a dream come true, not much could beat that. Some project car ideas Toyota GR Yaris, Merc A45, Civic Type R, and the BMW M2

Your attitude towards your car ownership is amazing. You use each car how it was designed to be used! No babying. 11/12K miles is more than many SLS cars will do in a lifetime!

I for one hope you keep living in the UK because I love these videos of you traveling back and forth to Germany. You always make us feel like you are taking us along for the journey.
Tim, you have done so well to bring us such varied and interesting content this year despite the most unusual circumstances we've had to endure. Very well done.
Sell up and come up to Lincoln Tim. You can get a monster house and storage or a huge house with outbuildings for your car for the price of a studio flat in London.... and you can drive at Cadwell Park which is a mini Nurburgring 😊
Even though Shmee may not drive much many of his other cars, at least I'm glad to know that the SLS is getting his well deserved time out in the road being enjoyed by a good owner

I totally agree with your comments about the UK when you return home. I have the same feelings when I come iver here from what is now home to me (New Zealand) the roads here are terrible, terrible drivers with poor land discipline and traffic volume here is horrendous. Born in UK but consider myself more a kiwi now. Missing New Zealand being stuck in UK in lockdown 😱
6:56 I'd say the new GR Yaris could be a fun car, I'm not sure it'll have a lot of aftermarket support but still, seems like awesome fun. Or get an older car to make it a track tool or just go ahead and get a 718 GT4 :)

I was surprised when you announced the incoming M3 considering you had then cancelled the A45, thought you would have gone that route considering your affinity with Mercedes/AMG. An A45 would make a great Ring project car if somewhat expensive!!
As a project, I'd prefer to see you take on a Quadrifoglio. Would suit a vibrant colour scheme. Maybe an FI exhaust. Maybe even jump on the engine build band wagon. Would be interesting to see what you could do with it around the ring.......
Next car, if you can get hold of one: Ariel Nomad (not the R). Perfect for London, track, countryside, posing, drifting. Less good for keeping possessions in or avoiding sunburn.

Hey Shmee you said the A45s but that is already crazy enough for a project car you should get something with mire modifying range
Fiesta ST or similar hatchback for the project car. So many modification options and will make for decent content too

Shmee if you want a project car that’s track focused get a GT86. Good platform and plenty of potential to make a brilliant track car.
