Battery will not charge when the engine is idling. The little power the generator delivers at idle is barely enough for ignition and lights/electronics. You can check that by using a clamp-on amp meter. Rev it up to 2500 rpm. And keep it there for a few minutes. Cheers 👍🤝
It seems like you have been doing this your whole life!! You are a expert!! Thanks for such an easy demonstration, hands down the best demonstration on RUclips!! Thanks a lot Sir!!
2nd method is really helpful. I was always making my bike run upto 20 and popping clutch, it used to sometimes start, bt mostly fail to start, then when I saw u do it with so much ease, I tried popping the clutch and pulled it back. That worked like a charm!! Thank you so much!!
I got a trick too, *turn on the engine switch *put gear on 3rd *pull on the chock switch located nearby Rreserve switch *grab clutch & roll the bike until it reaches a good momentum to rotate the shaft *then release the clutch *after you notice bike gets started suddenly grab clutch agian otherwise it may get crashed. This worked for me. 🙂
I always use the 2nd method, but on my TVS Apache, it has not worked many times. I really wish these bjke manufacturers just put a damn kick rod. I have a dead battery, and will try your first method - thank you so much for sharing. Glad I saw this - was going to call the TVS Road Side Assistance and saved my self from burning a hole in my pocket.
Excellent Bro..Just started my Apache RTR 200 in two attempts.. Battery was dead during lockdown..No jump start no ,no bike push..Its so easy Thanks 👍..
To day I started my fzs v3 by the trick you have shown in this vedio. Thank You. But really its hard. But Running bike upto 10 feet and then releasing clutch is also good method. I used thus tecnic also. Its is easier than rotating the wheel.
You're Welcome. Happy to hear that the video has come handy during tough times. Do subscribe and share. You never know how many of your friends may face the same issue!
Buddy thats a very nice show from you. A very natural way of explaining and the best part is you spoke in English, pretty neutral so that everybody can understand. I request you to stick with English so that everyone can be benefited with your Videos. Subscribed !!!!
I've never seen the 1st method, and you did the 2nd method a lot easier than most people do. They start running beside the bike. You run ON the bike. LOL. Thanks for the video.
If you run beside the bike, most of the times, it may so happen that the throttle response might be lost. Better to be seated on the bike to get a better control of the situation 😁
Thanks buddy, I love you for this! My rouser 180 has no kick so every time my battery connection malfunctions I always end up just carrying it to the mechanic.
First method will hamper the gearbox and clutch plates to some extent as well. But Yes, it's a best hack in case of emergency when ur all alone. Thanks a lot.😁
We agree. Anything that is a hack comes with its own set of demerits. In this case, it's a decision to strand the bike or to start it off and make it work.
Your way of explanation is too good....I have tried it on my CT100 ES just for testing the process....it worked very fine....now I have two queries: 1)does this process harm the engine or gear and clutch system? 2) what is the corresponding method for gearless two wheelers, say a scooty?
This is an emergency procedure and not done on a regular basis. The harm factor to the engine or the gearbox is minimal if done in one swift turn of the wheel. The harm factor may be overlooked due to the frequency of this method being used. Coming to automatic/gearless/CVT vehicles, I have personally never seen any of them without a kicker. The kicker is mandatory in these vehicles as there is no easy way of starting these in case the battery conks out. Hope that answers the question.
Did I miss something, how are you getting the heavier bike up high enough that the tire isn't touching? I don't have mine on the grass, it's in the parking lot, I listen twice I didn't hear you say anything about getting it up off the ground. I could you really use this right now because my bike is dead and my options are not good
Thanks for showing the approach, i am facing this same issue regularly if i will not drive my Avenger 180 street bike, how can i get rid from this situation permanently ?
If the issue persists, please check the battery. It might need a replacement, especially if the vehicle is rarely used or the battery has lasted more than 4 years.
Hello Irvin, that's a good question. In case we lack the availability of a center stand, we may still use the second method. This was one of the questions in our mind as well when we made the video and that's why we have Two methods.
Sir, this is very valuable information but, is this second method is applicable for pulsar 150 twin disk model. Plz rply sir.... And one more thing sir u have a fantastic english talking skills🔥🔥
Were the batteries in your bike completely dead? It sounded like you said they weren't. I like the third method, I'll have to give it a try. My battery is completely dead
Seems like it worked for everyone except me, i tried both the methods still my Apache 160 4v BS4 didn't start, guess I'll have to pay mechanic to charge batteries, I'm not able to start it with using kick start.

Thank you bro... You saved my day
The first trick of starting the bike turning the wheel helped me to start my bike
Happy to hear that, we will come up with more helpful videos like this in future!!
Great...my bike was not starting for the last 15 days.... started in first attempt with your technique.... Thanks 😊

Same here. I didn't know you pop and pull. I used to just leave the clutch.
Great info, I watched a few others but have never seen the 1st method, and your explaination of the 2nd method was very well put.
I got a trick too,
*turn on the engine switch
*put gear on 3rd

*grab clutch & roll the bike until it reaches a good momentum to rotate the shaft

Thanks, i used 2nd method today on my Avenger 150 cc. It really worked. thanks
You’re method of putting the bike in 2nd gear, and popping the clutch while moving forward saved me! Thank you!
