not really. i'm just disappointed that some spirits don't have the ability to enhance, while others do and they some times don't make sense. for example, why can't blaziken have his mega form as an enhanced spirit, but diancee can? some enhancable spirits are just updated versions of their past selves, which is also annoying. without going into spoilers, a character from xenoblade has two spirits, and they don't have enhancability. the character i'm talking about is fiora

Character related bosses like bowser and ganon has a starting cutscene of there standard models before transforming, and when defeated, they leave purple colored mist or smoke behind after their defeat...but so does Marx in the same way...coincidence?

Nope, Rathalos is pretty unique among the other five who are primary spirits.
