On the flipside, I like how the exe characters smile when the player go into the green ring instead of getting angry or trying to stop them, like "yeah you can do it buddy, keep going".

@@ShadMatt1385 SPOILER: IT kills you in the single or duo endings, so even if you stay with the emerald you still get killed. the only escape is to get the best ending.

You forget Eggman also gets to go to Hidden Palace & finds Tails and Knuckles in the Best Ending.
The Master Emerald gets stolen in spirits of hell round 2 and it is in freedom city. I'm pretty sure Exeller just gonna get to them anyway or a copy is getting to them.
I love how that on the not-give-up animations (for if you die due to Spikes, aka: EXE transformation) if there are other characters present, they seem to smile or appear pleased with you, like with Knuckles at 5:15

The "not give up" where the EXE character runs into the green ring to become normal again gives me an idea... maybe if there's another Sonic.exe game in the good ending you could trick him into going into one of those to get him back to normal again?

Sadly sonic is overtaken by a creature called exe. For short and he CORRUPTS others he kills so because hes not corrupted its just exe. Borrowing his body so yea wouldn't work pretty sure green ring only fixes corruption

So, here’s a fun fact:
On all the give up screens where you die by spikes and such (turning into .exe form), if you give up, then any additional characters on screen (knuckles or tails), when it fades to black and then white, the additional characters stay on screen (albeit, faintly). I don’t know why, but they so.
If you don’t believe me, rewatch one with tails and/or knuckles on it and turn your brightness to the max, and focus on where they were.

Give Up:
Tails is dragged into the ring. They disappear into it, it turns red, and Tails is decapitated.
Sonic.exe walks slowly behind Knuckles and skewers him in the head.
Eggman is attempting to run away, but Sonic.exe slowly catches up with him, and does a midair spin dash and splits him down the middle.
Tails is running from what seems to be continually switching between Sonic.exe and Knuckles. Tails keeps going and is skewered by a wall of spikes.
Sonic.exe has Tails over a cliff and a pit of spikes. Sonic.exe rips his tails off and Tails falls in.
