I used gorilla snot in this video. Link in the description for more detailed video and the product I used. You can also use beeswax. Which I use for my other sons hair because it is really thick. That video is here if you want to see it. ruclips.net/video/Zoh_Us7QoqE/видео.html
It can last for about 1-2 months. That's only because his hair is very soft and curly and he sleeps bad. This is my other son's hair and his last for about a3-4 months because his hair is very Thick. But honestly I dont let it last that long because it'll start permanently dreading up. So I leave them in about 2 months. They still be looking good after 2 months but he dont want them permanently. So it depends on the type of hair. ruclips.net/video/N5gjRgQB5wg/видео.html

ruclips.net/video/nTI2rHlIRTQ/видео.html this video will explain you better. Also this could last from anywhere between to 8 weeks. Although if you leave them in for more than 6 weeks it'll start to dreads but I have a video on how to take them out if the start to dread up.
Hey sorry I’m so late to comment found your videos and huge fan already subbed and all I was wondering my hair is like 4 inches and I been wanting to get twists and I was wondering can my twists form into dreads when it starts getting longer with an Afro
Absolutely. Start with the basic twist and every 2 to 3 weeks retwist them. Dont start fresh just retwist. Continue the process every 2 to 3 weeks and you will see them start to grow. Even if you dont retwist them, ( because I know a lot of ppl don't have time) if you put twists and just leave them in for a long time you will start to see them form into dreads.
Lil Bredoitall hey one more question sorry but this is gonna be my aunt first time using it and I wanna know if I should use edgewax or gorilla snot and is this really complicated to do
@@icetea7727 you're fine. I don't mind the questions. It depends on the type of hair you have. My son in this video has very soft somewhat curly hair and I honestly prefer to use gorilla snot. My other son however has really thick type hair and I rather use bees wax/edgewax which holds better in his head. If you want to see the type hair he have it's in this video. ruclips.net/video/Zoh_Us7QoqE/видео.html So with that being said it depends on the type of hair you have. But really you can use either one they both hold well. Also not hard at all, very easy to do.
Everyone's hair is different. I would suggest just put them in and leave them in for about 4 weeks. When you take them out you should start seeing new growth. They may be a little dreaded up but just follow my other video to take them out. After you take them out wash and condition your hair and put them on for another 4 weeks. You should really see a change in growth. It's possible to leave them in for 8 weeks but it will be dreaded up but like I said just follow my how to take out twists video and it'll help you.
To me the gorilla snot hold better starting the twist. I use the pro style gel if I'm refreshing it and just making them look better by going over them.
The products I used is: Suave shampoo and conditioner (to wash) cream of nature mango and she butter (leave in conditioner) Gorilla snot (to twist) Any comb that is best for your hair texture (If you are just starting off. You may want to use a twist comb

Gorilla snot or beeswax. Gorilla snot a probably hold better though
