100 percent agree, I’m 100 percent Detroit blood born and raised and I always heard about Minneapolis being a liberal hellhole but I was shocked at how clean and nice the city is and how much there is to do it almost reminds me of the small town feel of a place like Des Moines or Sioux Falls mixed with the huge metropolis feel of Chicago
But Chicago compared to Minneapolis is bigger with more comedy clubs and improv theater than Minneapolis / St. Paul neighborhood. I am a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, grew up in the Minneapolis suburbs but call Chicago my actual home because in the past I have watched the Cubs win their last World Series in 2016 when they beat the Indians/Guardians and rooted for the Cubs, the White Sox have played both at the Metrodome and Target Field multiple times because they’re rivals and close, I have met and seen most people who live here in the Twin Cities mostly from Chicago, my all time favorite movies are from both John Hughes films and the Blues Brothers and I support the Bulls in basketball and the Blackhawks in ice hockey along with my childhood baseball team, the Minnesota Twins for which whom their home club is at Target Field after the Metrodome Stadium where the Vikings football team played got demolished for the Target Field to be built, adding, there is a larger African American community because of the Chicago blues scene 🎶 than the Minneapolis Sound, because of Prince and his spinoff groups, The Time and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. I plan to retire from Minneapolis and move to the 'Windy City' settle down, start a family and continue my comedy career and achieve success in the entertainment business and it’s just bigger compared to the city and town I was raised in. Just my own opinion. ‘𝘚𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘰'. ❤
When reference was made to the Minneapolis-Saint.Paul Metropolitan Statistical Area being the smallest metropolitan area with all four major sports (five if you consider MLS). I believe that the Denver Metropolitan Area is smaller than than Minneapolis Metropolitan Area by population and it has all five major sports.
Seems like Minneapolis is active and fun for a suburban feel, performing well for a city of its size. But Chicago is undefeated for true city life, which I prefer. More comparable to NYC or San Francisco.
@@ChristopherCrinklebottom Ohio highways are average, worse conditions than indiana and minnesota highways but better than illinois highways. Minnesota and Indiana have been improving the most, almost all of Indiana is under construction and it’s kind of annoying but worth it
Both different Cities. No offense to Minneapolis I’m sure it’s nice but comparing apples to apples Chicago is a monster compared to Minneapolis. So to be fair Chicago is the Lion. The only other city in the U.S. that compares is N.Y. Chicago, is currently under a construction/high rise boom with projects like the 78, Lincoln’s Yards, One Central and now Bally’s Casino.
@@robertm.serrato258 actually, besides its much smaller size, Minneapolis is really not that different from Chicago; and, locally (i.e. in the Midwest), Minneapolis is the only city that it would be fair to compare it to Chicago.
Minneapolis is the best city in the midwest and it’s not close as someone who has lived in chicago and minneapolis

Crazy Chicago is the best and I’m from Michigan. Minneapolis is boring

Great doing this video with you Austin!
Loved learning more about MN! Great job, guys!

Tbh, I'm planning to move to Minneapolis cuz I have my uncle living in there but if I had to choose where I will live in, i will go for Illinois.
Illinois has horrible roads and infastructure, illinois is horrible, it only has chicago that’s it

Super informative!!
Great comparison; Minneapolis is the only city in the Midwest that comes anywhere near to being comparable to Chicago!
Columbus and Indianapolis is catching up to chicago as well, but not on the level as Minneapolis, and Sioux falls is a very nice place in the midwest
@@aimxdy8680 Sioux falls may be "a very nice place" for a town.

Who compares Minneapolis to Chicago. Minneapolis is far better. That's like putting a bull Dog vs a Lion.
They’re both fun towns. Every city has it’s own specialties. I love both Minneapolis and Chicago
Nah bro Chicago all the way

What???. Chicago is on a different level. It’s a world class city. Minneapolis on the other hand is another boring ass Midwest town.

Both of these are kinda bad to live in my opinion
Where you gonna live then
Detroit is bigger then Minnesota with four pro sports all pro sports
minnesota also has all 4 pro sports so i’m not sure what you mean by that
