Had this game as a kid. I put in so many hours in learning how to beat it. I eventually did learn and would play the game all the time without stopping, because I never wrote down the passwords.

I say this game is a HUGE improvement over the first one, why? YOU DON'T LOSE ALL YOUR ITEMS WHEN YOU GET HIT!!! YAY!!! Even with that, the game is STILL hard!
Yeah this game is really hard. I tried playing on the hardest difficulty but that forces you to collect all the items in every level but I had no idea how to get some of the items so I had to lower the difficulty :P
The stages before the Atlantis stage are child's play (lol) compared to the rest of the game! You can tell the game's difficulty ramps up at a VERY STEEP degree once you get to the Atlantis stage! I like this game more than The Rugrats Move (but I like both), because one other thing I didn't mention is that in this game, whenever you look a different direction, the camera pans ahead the direction you turn to, making it SO MUCH EASIER to detect incoming hazards without having to cautiously walk back and forth to pan the camera ahead, which was a HUGE problem in The Rugrats Movie, and responsible for many retries in my playthroughs! I use gameshark codes to give myself 99 retries, because 5 is not enough! I end up using WAY less continues in Time Travelers than in Rugrats Movie because you don't lose all your items when you get hit in Time Travelers! Thank GOODNESS for PASSWORDS! Did you know that there are passwords for EVERY SINGLE LEVEL (INCLUDING THE BONUS GAMES!) in the game? Not only that, but there are at least 2 different passwords for each level! For example: WWSTLFVL and BVBYRJCF BOTH take you to the Wild West stage (On medium difficulty) which is a bonus stage in itself: If you hit the same bottle over and over, those additional hits will actually count towards your requirement! Even hitting the bottles that are knocked out of you when you are hit are recollected and can be hit multiple times! This is the ONLY way to score 10 points in the game! I like walking several laps trying to hit as many bottles as I can to get as many bonus points as possible which results in the counters overflowing! Defiantly the easiest stage in the game! Another improvement in Time Travelers is that falling from a high place does not result in a retry, but just deals normal damage!
I remember asking for the Rugrats in Paris game for GBC for my birthday, and Target was all out. My grandma got me this instead lol. Must have been the year 2000.

But somehow by sheer luck I did find this game in a gameboy case containing a fully functional FatBoy, monsters Inc, Super Mario Deluxe, this rugrats game, Donkey Kong country and of course Tetris near the dumpsters in my neighborhood.. What a find.. I can't even remember what I ended up doing with FatBoy but I probably sold it to a friend or something because I already had a Gameboy Advanced
God I loved this game, must have played it through dozens of times...and even as a kid I was like “wow, they gave up on the whole ‘time travel’ thing really fast” XD

I have never been able to pass the Gold Rush part of this game.
This game is quite hard! I attempted this game on hard and put many hours in but couldn't figure out how to get all the items in some levels.

I remembered playing this game as a kid, my mom and I bought from GameStop when they are game boy games, I got this game, Dr. Mario, and Pokemon Blue.
