Hi. New subscriber. This is such a beautiful resort in the spring and summer. We love it because it is small and has only 1 bus stop. No riding around stopping at multiple stops after a long night in the parks. Having the boat service to Disney Springs is also a great asset.

Great walk through and review! Thank you! We will be staying there first week of April and have never been to this resort . I reserved at Riverside but want to change it to FQ. Do they anticipate to be done with pool completion by then? I also heard that room renovations are to start. Have you heard this as well?

So glad this video helped you!! The pool is supposed to be completed in April, but there's no exact date. When I talked to the bartender about this, she hinted that it may be longer. I would stick to Riverside until you know for sure. You could always try to change it last minute and hope for an opening.
Anything on renovations on rooms? I understand that there were some renovations done on rooms in 2018.
I'm not seeing anything on that yet. You should be fine!
Recently stayed at Riverside. Guests at either of the Port Orleans resorts can use both pools at FQ & Riverside, these are the only resorts where pool hopping is allowed. While the FQ pool is being renovated life guards are being utilized to drive guests (on golf carts) from resort to resort, for the pool. Staying at FQ in May & we can hardly wait.
