Any candle with more movement in the opposite direction then the previous candle. So... even if my candles are offset.... so if candle 1 goes up 10 and then candle 2 goes up 10 more but ends up losing pips..... i'm in this trade.

You told step 1 is isolate the trend I.e.Higher high for uptrend and took only bulish ingulfing but when you give example, you show entry point into historical price.where trend was not established .

Is it better for the indicators to be set for BAR ON CLOSE or EACH PRICE CHANGE?
That's quite confusing. Many times I notice action taken on "Bar On Close" saves me from Stop Losses and takes me back into profit. But yes, many times the current Bar closes far far away into loss territory

What i'd like to know is that how do I combine candlestick patterns with chart patterns?
like what? Ms... Ws.... HnS.... S R zones...... you said the magic thing..... the idea is to combine them you see a special candle at a key level. SMASH THAT TRADE BUTTON. Don't think... Just do it. your odds of losing are pathetic. it can happen. but usually you will win. set S L at just beyond the top if you sell and just beyond the bottom if you buy. keep it tight. if you do get burned. don't give up much. but, do give it space to hit that level again and go slightly beyond it. It might do that. only to give you a winner.

Addition of some trend line on smaller time frame should be must. I have tested it multiple times, market violates this engulfing pattern.
During pullback, engulfing patterns forms. Market moves just a bit in trend direction and again continues its pull back momentum.
Personally using some sort of trend line on smaller time frame and its breakage as entry signal would save many of your SL but a cost of slightly larger SL.

You can use it on daily n 4 hr
This is a real trade. Without indicator. Indicators can be helper but never make trade with them.
