Yes it can be superseded or discontinued but for the most the the part numbers stick with the part. Old and new numbers. I should have been more clear about this. So ms 311 59cc and ms 362 59cc. Same cc not the same piston and cylinder. Echo 590 and the 620 same cc not same piston cylinder. Lol
