- Our family, two and four legged, would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. We feel you are all a part of this global family that we are feeling extremely grateful to be a part of. There is so much love, consideration and support shared here everyday. You all mean so much to us. Thank you. We hope this Christmas Special we put together brings you a smile today. All the doggies and kids too, loved making it for you.
Rover is doing very well, he’s enjoying a turkey lunch and Christmas with our family today along with all the doggies at the farm; adopted, fostered or those on holidays. Rover hadn’t quite arrived at the farm when Ben filmed our Christmas Special for you all, for those wondering. It’s a very warm day here at the farm, so the pack is enjoying lots of swimming.

I'm only 4 minutes in and eyes are misty with joy. Thank you for highlighting Freddo. Not only was his arrival the time I found you last year, but I think he has become the heart and soul of the entire rescue mission. I so love that he lives to protect, serve and care for all of you. He's just incredible. And even though he's starting to slow down ever so slightly, he's still the Sheriff 🥰

Merry Christmas, Justice! This video appeared like a holiday miracle for me; was feeling a little "blue", but now I have had an infusion of joy! What a gift - to be invited to Australia for the holidays! (without the long airplane ride from Seattle) LOL. Best wishes to you.
Justice, I’m sorry to read that you have no-one to share Christmas but remember you are a part of the Farm community that stretches round the world. So from a village about 25 miles from London with a church almost 750 years old on the site of an older one, buildings over 600 years old and even an excavated Roman bath house, that is surrounded by farmland and whose residents say hello even if they don’t know each other here come some heartfelt Christmas greetings for you.

I love everything about the farm, seeing the Evans being such an amazing family and the doggies and kitty loving life.
Even the subscribers from around the world are amazing. You’re right about the privilege of being invited to the farm and not having to take a long airplane ride. Evans family thank you for this incredible video. I was having trouble finding Christmas cheer, 2022 was a tough year for my family, being hospitalized, hurricane Ian we are still fixing our home, death of my beloved dog. It was too much to even care about the holidays yet this morning wayching this, I feel that wonderful spirit, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you. To all who’s year has been horrid, 2023 can only get better!
Tough year for so many I know. Hope 2023 is kinder to you. We lost one of our dogs 10 days ago after routine surgery. Family just going through the motions of Christmas. Preparing food yesterday was tough, he was my right hand man in the kitchen. Sending love and hugs to everyone whose finding things tough at the moment x
@@clairel.8474 oh Claire I’m so sorry for loss. Taking time to grieve is difficult especially with the holidays. So many don’t understand the magnitude of losing a dog. For us we couldn’t have children, so we found our family in rescuing beagles for the past 25 years. They are more to us than a pet. On thanksgiving my boy woke up sick, didn’t eat, was tired, but went to bathroom ok. It was cancer and it was everywhere. He never showed any signs of illness until that morning. I did the most loving difficult thing in letting him go. He left this world in my arms. I’m still having trouble sleeping without him. 2022 has been difficult for so many, I’ve never had a year where we went from one crisis to another. I’m praying for all those who lives have been impacted. Fingers crossed that 23 will see happy, healthier, home repaired times!

This is so imaginative!!!! Ben is a character, I can imagine the nonsense and fun with everyone there at The Farm. The photo was beautiful. Love the slippers😁😍. Great text, my type of humour. I used to make hoof marks on my dirt driveway, my daughter was thrilled to see them. Xmas has to be enjoyed with kids to make it special. I'm glad Chance was ready to be involved in the xmas fun. The dreams were lovely. The kids (4 legs) loved their presents. Now to kill piggies etc. Miss Kitty attacking the defenseless Sheps. Oh my god!!!!!! I ate my chicken salad roll with my fur babies watching this video together. You are never truly alone when you have Jesus in your heart celebrate that today is his birthday. You are about the same age as my Mum. I was born in Freemantle Hosp Perth but moved to Queensland when I was very young, so I don't have any memories of Perth. The Evans family have made the last few years bearable. Best wishes to you🥰💖.

@@islandlass thank you Jane, the internet can be a bad place but we have found real love and caring not only for humans but also animals. I pray constantly that the evil people who harm, abandon and make animals afraid will suffer the same horror and trauma for the rest of their miserable lives. If I had magic powers I would snap my fingers and those monsters who mistreat any animal would be in a living hell. Not nice to wish for this but they don't deserve any compassion. Oh boy, that was a rant. I'm hoping Ben recorded the family on arrival viewing the luxury holiday chalets, they seem to be a very close knit family. One of my Uncles was from Glasgow, the Goebles (not sure of correct spelling). He left at 15 yrs old and joined the army, mainly to get away from the poverty and violence. He said the 2nd WW had nothing on Glasgow. He never went back. He loved his Sunday morning breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage and plenty of dripping poured over the lot. He was a brickie, so worked too hard. During the week he would eat his porridge with salt (yuk), much better with sugar. They were too poor to buy sugar so salt was used, I suppose it's what you are raised with. The temp today here in Perth Western Australia is a very mild 29°C, I hope you are keeping warm in Scotland. I love every second of this video. Tank and Chop Chop's conversation when one asks the other how often Christmas happens is so poignant given they've just been given a safe, caring for ever home. I might be a bit weird because I really started crying when I saw the beautifully set table with Christmas crackers and the loving care the meat and vegetables were placed on each plate so that the meals were visually appealing as well as nutritious, That must have taken a lot of time!

When The Farm's Christmas vid dropped, I had to stop the cooking prep. The vid went on the big screen & the whole family watched. The Farm's Christmas movie-let just toppled 'Love Actually' as the best heartwarming storyline that filled me & my family with happiness, laughter, joy, love & kindness to all creations, 2 & 4 legged. I even teared up (happy ones). The twist on Twas the night before Christmas was brilliant. The kiddies' search for Santa was so superbly done. All the doggies' (& kitty's) actions were so perfectly them. (I died with Roscoe's "Whose breaking-in?" & when Santa came & Miss Violet said "I don't see him!"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣) Everything was completed with the Evans' style total craziness right down to Sam forgetting to unbutton Barney's PJ's🤣🤣🤣

Loved the pine cone tablecloth, the individual plates for each of the pack members; loved seeing Roscoe eating along with everybody else! and Mother & daughters, Shadow with Miss Violet and Miss Red; the Choptank pair; And Chancie! This was the absolute best way I could have started my Christmas Day!!! The video was perfect from start to finish. I loved seeing all the dogs eating their Christmas dinner at the table!! Peas everywhere!! Except poor Kitty Rose- she didn't have a plate and had to settle for shepherds tail instead!! But she did make it in the Family Christmas pic and that was perfection!! Pure magic ❤ have just woken up on Christmas morning here in Scotland to the most wonderful, beautiful and fun gift from the fantastic folk at the Farm. Santa really does exist 😊 loved Elle’s narration of the Farm’s Christmas story and what a hero Freddo is. I laughed, cried and drooled (with the doggoes over the Turkey lunch) and was transported to the other side of the world for a truly magical 26 minutes to share your Christmas.
