    Thanks for the video - I love my Partner Stoves. I have the 22 and the 9-break-apart. You forgot to mention they come with a high-quality, custom made propane hose. Also, I have used my partners with a 20lb and 5lb tank, and I bought the 1lb-adapter but haven't yet used that. I have seen "Pitcairn" using the adapter though.

    Nice review but it would be better if you fired that thing up for us, and showed us the hose attachments and such. The Classic Colman’s I’ve used for years at 10,000btu as well do not burn with both burners very well. I was hoping to see this thing lite up to make a comparison.

    Thanks so much for review, I want to buy a 5 pound propane tank because there is no way I could carry a 20 lb one up the stairs, and you happened to mention it.

    How does the partner preform in windy conditions? Will it get a good sear on steak? Can you adjust it low enough to simmer ? Cheers best review of the unit on RUclips.

    @esquire9445 5 лет назад

    You can add an electric ignitor... I think that's why there is a little box preformed on the right side toward the front.

      Insane eh, Overlanding gets popular and prices skyrocket. I'll stick to my coleman or buy a jetboil genisis.

    How does it simmer? Can it cook with cast iron to make eggs, and slow cook a little? Large corn boil?

    I just don’t see almost $400 in these things. Let’s face it, the stove is basically an aluminum box with 2 burners, controls and a few fittings.

      Buy once for $400, and never buy again. I'm in my thirties and totally expect to have this in my seventies and then give it to my grandkids. Everything else on the market isn't worth $25 if you ask me.

      @@chrisking6370 Ja good one, 30yrs with my same coleman dual as well. So if you take care of your $hit it can last. Also this dude keeps saying stainless, when about the only parts on this unit that are stainless is the grate, the body is alloy!

      Having been a sheet metal fabricator, I’m amazed they can sell these stoves for $400 bucks and still make a profit. This thing was built by real, professional welders here in the US. The welding and build quality is unreal. The older Colman stoves are way better that the new ones but they are not even close to robust enough to stand up to professional use. I worked for a river outfitter and we would get two to three months out of a Colman, but there were 20 year old partner stoves that still looked and functions like they were new. If you camp a few times a year and have the ability to be really careful with your gear to can get a long life out of an older Colman. But you can wash a partner stove in the river and then throw in in the drop hatch in your boat and it will still outlast every other piece of gear you own.

    Knobs, I burn myself frequently due to it heating the metal around the knobs;. - Aluminum. Also, the wind screens. You stick the stays into the holes on the wings. Get the matching griddle too...

    • @mjhns2
      @mjhns2 5 лет назад

      Do you know what company sells the griddle (I see it on Parter Steels website, but no mention of distributors)?

    It is a great stove, I have the same model. It’s fantastic in every way, but I *loathe* the windscreen fasteners. They catch on clothing and my windscreen comes detached from them constantly. I’ve been using this stove heavily since 2012.

      Team 125 Overland Sorry I totally missed this response, I have thought about starting a nursing channel at times but then I got paranoid with all the haters out there lol number one reason I can’t get on you tube. 👨‍⚕️ male nurses are needed on youtube we need an honest discussion of what we are getting into lol.
      You are making great moves and everyday getting better I really hope to see you get up there with subs and then you can teach me lol.
