  • The snowflakes started flying at Clarkson a couple of weeks ago. Before long, snow transformed the lawns, trees and building roofs on campus into a dazzling white. Snow covered nearly two-thirds of the United States as of January 2, according to the National Weather Service, and northern New York was no exception. The snow has made campus quiet and peaceful this winter break; faculty and staff walking outside often only hear the crunch of the flakes beneath them. Children have taken to Clarkson's hills for sledding. Nearby, nature lovers are cross country skiing and snowshoeing on Clarkson's trails. The sun reflects off icicles, and snow banks on the edge of parking lots resemble wintry works of art. Take a minute and enjoy this video of "Clarkson in a snow globe!"
