Bruce -one of the things you always teach without saying it out loud is PATIENCE. I see it in all your videos. Lights really have to be patient and resist the urge to get kills. Also, as the post below speaks to, DO NOT let the dead guys or "teammates" tell you where to go or how to play. Stay alive and ruin the red team's game in the last half. Then when they message you, just show them your stats and say "You're welcome for the win." Your videos teach a lot, but best of all emphasize the basics and smart play. Always worth the watch.

This is a really nice video, that you made here =) Sucks that I'm blacklisted by WG and even the worst heavy can outspot me even when I'm parked in a bush and full camo equipped in an ELC EVEN 90... 😒🙄
Thank you for saying, that new players have to play light tanks, now every game new players with 1000 battles playing tier 8 light tanks in heavy lines instead of going standard bush and spot for the team. GREAT ADVICE
my recommendation was to play low and mid tier lights.not high tier lights. so what you say is not true. I tell people to play lights until tier 7. and btw, become a decent player because of learning spotting mechanics and how to use mobility...
Really loving the content! I do enjoy the simple 'entertainment' style of other WOT RUclipsrs, but I prefer this thought process teaching style so much more because I learn so much more quickly. Being shown an AMAZING bush is ok, but it won't get you far without the correct thought process to know when to change plan. Taugrim used to do this type of content but seems to have stopped a couple of years ago, and I'm so happy you have picked up the baton. Keep up the excellent work!

Heyo nice episode, as a light only player i was looking for some content like this :) It`s funny how i always vibed with the phrase "the longer you stay in game the stronger your light tank gets" - but actually only if your Team didnt get whiped haha
Very helpful. I am working my way back through all your videos. The tutorial nature of these videos is very helpful for those of us trying to get better. The biggest problem I see with light tanks is the extreme abuse you take from other players as you are learning. The comments in chat from dead players can be distracting at best and triggering at worst. And then the guys that just have to PM you after the game to tell you bad you are and why you should uninstall the game. It really deadens the desire to play lights. I know I should not let it trigger me .... but it is really hard not to lash back at them. At your level I doubt you have to deal with this, but as you were learning this must have happened to you as well. How did you deal with it. Thanks ... Bluenose637 ... out
Many similarities in gaming to real life . 1.take responsibility for your own actions 2.learn by your mistakes 3.never quit You cannot control the amount of small minded people in your life but you can control how you react to them. I personally ignore trolls unless I can turn their criticism into a lesson on how I can improve my game play ? Every successful person has made mistakes and learned from them. I also think people who feel the need to put others down are insecure and feel the need to belittle others to boost their own confidence! Hope this helps Happy gaming to you.
Yeah I've been playing lights and trying to really learn the best game play. I have friends who have been walking me through some things, but I have routinely gotten messages after games from players yelling at me for not doing my job. Which has now led to me being over aggressive trying to help my team and spot for them only for me to be to far ahead, spot the enemy and then no one is in place behind me, and then i die. its been rough.
Bruce yet another very informative video. I want to suggest that you do a specific light tank how to video for every map in the game, using both spawns. I realize that may be a a daunting task but it would be very helpful I believe for all light tank players. It would be a great video series for you to do if you are interested. Obviously it would take some time but I think worth the effort.
Where do you get the maps you show at the beginning of the segments? are these available on a website? would be great to pull up a map like that on an unfamiliar map to see how tanks generally distribute.
Great video thx.1 map I struggle with is mines.can you do a video on light tank strat for this map.i always feel obligated to rush to take donut hill and either Lose most my hp or die.or have no support from team and get overun once I get on the hill...if I stop short and fire on enemy LT taking hill I then cannot take and give up this position.as heavys arrive ideas greattfully accepted.ie is the donut hill even really that important to risk losing hp
