Side note, it looks like Azurobe doesn’t drop the Pal Metal Armor. She drops the Pelt Armor. Just went and caught her to make sure. So unless she can drop both, you may need to amend that in the description.

@@nismo411 The standard armor? No world boss drops it. The only way to hope to get it, is by opening high level dungeon chests, so pretty much just ice dungeons. A few people did get lucky and got them from Lyleen Noct chest.
However, I frankly skipped the standard Pal metal armor, simply because the Heat and Cold Pal metal armors have higher defense and hp.

You said Azurobe drops the legendary Pal Metal armor, you sure that's not the PELT armor? Seems a little low level to dropping such a high armor set

Top tip if you capture the alphas then butcher them after youve caught them you can get the legendary schematics from them doubling youre chance

The site I read said that azurobe drops legendary pelt not legendary pal metal. I mean considering it's level it would make way more sense to drop pelt. SOOO take with a grain of salt since legendary is a very rare drop.
The main reason I bring this up is because there are legendary pal metal heat and cold, but I couldn't find just normal. /shrug rare is still rare and getting them will be a slog but either one with 2 of the appropriate undershirts will allow you to move in most areas without a problem.
Can confirm azurobe does indeed drop PELT armor, not pal metal. I was confused when I saw that listed in the video and immediately set out to grind it to see for myself. As you said I haven't seen any pals that drop the normal, it's only ever the hot or cold.

One minor correction though, the pal metal armor schematic drops from the chests in the lvl 45+ snow area, from the boss chests in the caves or possibly from the red chests littered throughout the zone.
1:20 he discusses that and states he wont get into loot chests! Probably too much variety to make an "odds" video on im guessing

Theres no pal metal armor schwmatics, but its cold/hot res does... just kill/butcher paladius and necromus
Just including these bosses in your regular routine rotation is a good idea. Not just for the legendary schematics but they all drop good to great amounts of rare sellable items. Especially as you get to higher levels and can just farm everything with your pals, not even expending ammo. It's also worth noting that each of these bosses that can be farmed for these schematics also have a chance to drop them if you butcher them with the Meat Cleaver. This has to be specifically the ones caught in the boss fights as other alphas from dungeons and random encounters or breedjects will not work.

I just got the lengendary metal helm schema from the Ice Stallion lengedary. I guess it just drops whatever it wants. Which to be fair it was my first time killing it and I don't even have refined ingots unlocked yet since I killed it with fall damage and outnumbering it by building my base near it.

If I got told to do what I gotta do one more time, I'd probably go crazy trying to uninstall youtube, but good informative video! Also, Azurobe definetly does not drop the PAL Metal armor, but it can drop the legendary schematic for PELT armor. Similar words, but big difference :P

Know if it works on xbox? I have been playing on the xbox app on pc through gamepass and cant seem to get any schematics from bosses no matter how many I kill and capture.
They're a 1% drop chance so they're just really rare.
Do you catch them or kill them?
I saw someone else trying it out ans apparently, as gruesome as it sounds, the best chance is to capture a bunch of bosses and butcher them. Butchering gives you twoce the chance plus the initial capture.
I got a friend that killed Jet dragón 131 times before getting the legendary 🤦 at this time we already don't need it 😂

Quite a bit more resources including ancient civilization parts, and repairs cost ancient civilization parts.
@@5000562 do you know if drop rates are low? I've killed blazamut about ten times so far and no legendary assault rifle has dropped yet.
@@MachineGunnFunk yes, drop rates are fairly low, which is why it's recommended to capture and butcher them to double your odds. I think a Nexus mod increases it to 25% from what the description states is 3% base.

Need more resources, for example, rocket launcher legend schematic needs 500 Pal Metal to craft
Drop chances are the same but if you capture you get 2 chances at drop when you take it home and butcher it for a second drop
They need to add a sniper rifle and legendary sniper if no legendary musket

@@chriswihulu I was watching some gameplay when the game was on unity. They had snipers. That version looked more interesting too tbh.
@@101joebro would have to go back and look at it myself, before I can say anything about the quality on Unity Vs Unreal.
But it is still early access, so I have some hope they will add things such as snipers over time, even though I am more than happy with just the single shot Rifle. Would be neat to see attachments though, to improve some of the guns performance and usage; silencers, laser sight and so on.

Why the best armor in the game drops from 17 lvl boss? This makes no sense. Especially when 45+ lvl bosses drop only refined metal armors.
