I hike into the Australian Wilderness and spend the night wild camping on the edge of a cliff, with quite possibly one of the best views in Australia!
Music licensed from Artlist.
I watch your videos from Ukraine and I am very fascinated by them.
You are lucky to be able to observe such beauty.
I hope to visit Australia someday and see for myself.
Good luck and unforgettable hikes for you.
Every time I watch, you manage to capture The tranquillity, the ancientness & pure beauty. I’m a world away in West Sussex, England & pleased to see you get some pretty decent Fog & drizzle 😂😉 I’d probably never get to see these places for real so thank you for taking me along on your adventure. All the best Andy
Lol, I had a laugh 😁 "pleased to see you get... fog" I'm in Toowoomba Queensland and I live in daily cloud with the recent rain. It's still pretty mystical to me as I'm from Brisbane. ( Down the road by the bay 🙂)
For every negative i want to represent the x 100 that absolutely love and appreciate your efforts. Been watching for years now and I use these videos to chill. Keep doing what you're doing I love your organic and original content.
Beyond priceless. What a blessing.
"River fog" is a sign of water.
Always learn from & respect indigenous people.
Whenever I travel to places like that it's always a battle to leave! It really humbles you seeing the scale of mother nature then remembering how small we are!
Epic, timeless, inspiring, geologically unique landscape we call home.
A lot of spiders means the birds aren’t in any big numbers out there. I really love the fog hanging on the landscape it is the most natural earthly experience and so do the panthers out there they adore walking along in the fog it’s their playground to. Please be careful I swear I’ve seen them and it’s nearly always in the morning fog they walked out and were so close to me I ran like hell back inside. Poor Australian landscape the bushfires are so devastating. Thanks so much for the video
Very surreal looking...the green grasses with the black/charred trees. Stunning!
Man what an incredible place! Looks prehistoric, epic scenery! Great video Scotty, image is crisp and clear as hell. Rock on !
Thanks heaps Careena! Glad you enjoyed it. 🤙
Nice area . Been going to that area of the NSW south coast for 20 yrs now .
1st time I went to that area was 37 yrs ago when I was a young child .
Perfect timing. Just cracked a beer. 🍺🍺🇦🇺🇦🇺❤❤

Mate you’ve ABSOLUTELY outdone yourself with this one!! I’m closing in on having seen all your vids, and the shots in this one were just jaw dropping 🤌🏼🤌🏼
You could easily make a calendar with just shots from this vid, and if you do, I’m getting it for sure!!
I’ve been wanting to get down to see Didthul for a while, and this also inspired me to get my act together haha. Thanks again!! 🙏🏼
Another great video. Very special place. Love your respect for country and culture.
Wow...stunning shots man
It's been raining all damn day here in Melbourne, then this comes out. Perfect combo!
Pack a compact umbrella. Simply bring it out open it and hold it horizontally in front of you. No more spider set backs. Also handy for cooking in the rain too :) Love the vids. Keep them coming.
Oh man, Sunday morning, breakie's on the table and Scotty's on the living room flatscreen showcasing hiking, outdoors, bushcrafting, cooking and stunningly beautiful Australia. Doesn't get any better than that👍Ever heard of "Fernweh" ... ? 🙈🙂🍻
Edit: now that I've seen the episode to the end: thanks a bunch for the history, especially regarding the Aboriginal reference and ancient tradition. MORE 🙂👍☀️☀️
Jiffi, that so sounds like Jimmy Barnes is about to be singing about Ita any minute
Nice one Scotty brilliant as always ,👍🤠🍻🏕️🏞️
Thankyou Scotty. Another stirring video. You continue to capture the essence of yr surrounding environment with ease. 👍
Beautiful view
My two favorite channels are Scotty and Erik Normark with their adventures. Similar but different cos of the opposite ends of the planet and delivery styles. Such refreshing content Scotty in magnificent surroundings. Your photography was awesome mate. Thanks for the journey you take us on each episode. Bushyboy Oz.
Nice one. What a place. So great to hear about the first people’s and connections to country. Keen to hear more about that side of Australia and the places you visit.
I've been in Australia for a classical exchange student year and fell in love with the country. Love your calm style and your dialect and the landscapes just remind me of this wonderful year in the country you call home.
You always go to the tenth degree, to bring us the best Scotty. Not surprising you have prescribers, from all over the world.
What a gorgeous view!
Wow!! Pure beauty of nature 😍😍. Thank you Scotty. 😊
I love your videos and you always hike the most amazing national parks !
Thanks for sharing the fire damage. A horrible tragedy for amazing Australia. Time for renewal. Take care and love from Canada 👍😉🇨🇦💜🕷🌘
I enjoyed every second of this video
That sunrise looked next level! Thanks for sharing 😊
Awesome Scotty
Please mate you just have to send good'ol Aussie Cooee into those hill tops. It will be an epic cathedral for the Cooee echo to ring out. How many echo replies can you hear?
Hooroo

I can't believe I just discovered your channel. You certainly captured the magic of the rugged and majestic Australian wilderness. Beautiful work, Scotty!
Stunning landscape right there, worth the hike and a windy camp, thanks for sharing Scotty 👍🏻🍻
I have now viewed all of your videos. All honest , excellent powerful and enjoyable. Overall they have a spiritual element. Another subscriber thanked you for bringing us along. I endorse that and thank you for your efforts and humility. Cheers
Great one Scotty. Just love that area and used to live at Depot Beach with easy access to some great areas there. Take care and keep up the good work.
I know the camera cannot capture all the beautiful colors but the view is amazing! Love the editing and thanks for the videos.
Oh wow, that's an amazing hike. I don't envy walking into those webs though. Argh. Did you do a dance and a half 😆 love watching your adventures! X
Love the aussie bush. Great lookout👍🏼
Thanks again Scotty for an inspiring walkabout. In a crazy, worrying world, your videos are a sea of calm for the soul. I so appreciate the time you take to share the history and beauty of these amazing places you so obviously love.
I absolutely love walking in fog on ridges, it just makes me feel like I'm in the clouds with no other worries
HelloScotty I have ben a follower of your adventures for some time. I was particularly interested when you went through the past aboriginal inhabitants. I felt there was a spiritual connection to this land. I am Looking forward to seeing more of your bush craft adventures. Kevin NZ
Great walk, thanks Scotty.
I needed this nice peaceful view tonight
Great video thank you for sharing your adventure!
So glad you went out in the fog. The scenery is amazing. I’ve been painting misty landscapes in watercolour today and this video is so inspiring.
I remember when I was in Viet Nam (1966-67) coming off over night ambushes, walking on trails back to our base camps, you would soon learn not to walk point because of all the spider webs. Nothing more revolting than to walk face first into a spider web. I enjoy your videos, your country is interesting and beautiful.
Another awesome vid. Thanks! Also, you can use the pump sack from the sleeping mat to blow up the pillow, too - stops getting moisture inside.
Hi Scotty, another great video, love the history lesson of the area, love walking in the mist and rain it's so invigorating. Thanks again take care.
Mate, thanks for showing the world that Australia is not just the Wide Brown Land but that it has other amazing stuff too.
Although just at the moment we might be the Wide Drowned Land with all this rain on the east coast.
Love ya work, proud to be a patron.
Thanks Scotty
Very nice video! Beautiful places! Thank you!
Beautiful, I could see why you went there after the fog lifted.
...You are a good cook too Scotty
Outstanding scenery. The air seemed so crisp & clear in the morning after the overnight wind. I guess it blew all the crap out of the air. 😀
Really nice place. In the beginning of video you were riding a bike and it makes me think that maybe it would be nice to use the bike as a pack mule that way you could walk your bike along and your pack attached to the bike.that way it would be easier on your travels. Many thanks for sharing your adventure's really awesome place.
Got to love gravel bikepacking. I've got to go back to the Vic highcountry next spring.
Great video and I liked the history you went into 👍👍
Your videos are just epic, for one you give everyone (non-native) such a great view of Australia that most never see or even think is possible such as lush green areas even fog, plus 99% of the things that will kill you are in Australia and you are all causal like I just walked into a few spider webs. Seriously though it has been a pleasure watching your different adventures, from hiking to canoeing, you provide us with such a range of experiences, you provide better content per video than more popular youtubers. Cheers mate (holding up a gin with lemon) keep on tripping mate you are one of the better ones on youtube.
Wow! Definitely worth sleeping up there to wake up to that view. Always appreciative of you bringing us along!
Thank you for another fabulous video, hope you are staying safe in the weather in your area.
Thanks for another gorgeous view of Australia! ❤️😊
Another gorgeous spot! It keeps getting better. I think I would have moved off the mountain after watching the lightening dance across the sky. You are a brave soul. I appreciate you telling the history of the area, it’s very interesting. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures. I can’t wait for the next.
I've been there and climbed Pigeon House, it's a pretty easy hike. The landscape is indeed stunning. The way it opens up makes you feel liberated. Further North, some stunning lookouts in the Fitzroy falls area too, it's more touristy though. I've done one less known hike in the area, and navigation can be indeed quite tricky.
Hi mate, I have walked right through there many years ago. I used maps and a compass to get around in them days lol. It's beautiful country. Great video too.
would absolutely love to know where this is? thanks mate
@@anglerdan8082 they run between Ulladulla on the east and on the West Nerriga and Braidwood. It’s a gorgeous place.
Wonderful screenplay, perfect soundtrack, just a pleasure to watch mate. My favourite channel. Keep it up!
I think this place has to go on my bucket list. Such beautiful country around there.
Gin tonic in a water bottle! Hate to grab the wrong bottle be mistake but then again it would off been a awesome hike either way. Lol cheers from Alberta,Canada.
Hey Scotty. April is orb spider season. And this year is a very big season. I walked upper neapen area recently. And had to use a stick to clean a web every 5 meters. They hurt when they bite. Usually at night time though
What an amazing place that is Scotty kind of like the Grand Canyon with trees and a bit like the Tepui in Sth America with Pidgeon House Mountain in the background awesome I'll have to get back up there one day,
Awesome video mate, the budawangs is such a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing with us 👌
I love your work. The views are beautiful, through your window.
Thank you for your efforts in taking us with you mate. Enjoyed this episode. Bloody ORB spider's......
The mist coming across the burnt black trees was so beautiful & mystical... Amazing place Scott. Thanks for taking us there.
Really appreciated your effort to get to this place. Great camera work and production values. Many thanks
Beautiful video Scotty.
Hope your ok tonight mate. Not sure what part you are but I know things are very bad at NSW tonight with the floods. Do stay safe.
some great footage and devastating evidence of the fire damage, its going to be a great thing having this video diary of the damage and hopefully the recovery through time
Thanks for the upload and taking us on another journey
Definitely going to have to jump in the kayak after the rain settles down
Dramatically awesome location!
Another awesome adventure. I was told years ago when looking at mats in a camping store not to worry about the insulated mats, just buy the uninsulated and use a good reusable emergency blanket (I use a coleman) under the mat to reflect your body heat back up. Works a treat, and can easily adjust to the conditions. Likewise, I use a superlight down sleeping bag which is rated to about 4 degrees and packs up really small. I use a modular combination of silk sheet, Sea to Summit thermo liner, merino clothes and bivvy bag to deal with different temperatures. It took me many years to figure out a flexible sleeping system that works.
Don’t underestimate those baffled insulated mates. They are worth 20 times their weight in cold (they don’t weigh much)
They completely stop the cold creeping up underneath you overnight.
Way way better than adding other stuff to fix it.
I get where you are coming from though, you do what you can with what you have In The circumstances.
There is always a way, but the insulated stuff works summer and winter :-)
@@Mike-vo8nk I don't underestimate them, I was recommended another method which also stops the cold. The bonus is that I always take a survival blanket anyway and it doubles as insulation and also another layer to protect my mat from getting a hole. This system has worked perfectly for me for ten years.
Stunning landscape! Great to see your acknowledgement of country in this video. Love my S2S etherlite, they're great mats! I heard about the cinder on a podcast and was waiting for them to come out... seems like a great summer quilt too. Thanks again mate, good job 👍
Excellent as always !!!
Great video. I’m so glad to have stumbled across your channel. Looking forward to more videos and going to the budawangs myself.
Exploring mysterious landscapes with incoming fog combined with soothing music is just art.
Fell in love with the place
Great video.
Windy but at least no rain.
Appreciated the words overlay during the history lesson.
Nice vid Scotty. I hope you are keeping dry and out of the flood waters.
I would love to be right where you stayed some day. Not sure if I will ever get to Australia, but thanks for taking us along on your amazing trips.
Looks like you got out of there just before the rain hit with these crazy floods, glad to see you made it out in time .
Easily one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Awesome!
That charred banksia forest in the fog looked spectacular. Such an amazing place. We are always bombarded with post colonial history it's so refreshing to hear a bit about our nation's first people. I find it much more interesting. Thanks for sharing. (Sorry about your camera).
Good video. And Thank You , for all the information about the nature in Australia ! Very nice !
It's beautifull country . Your videos make me discover this fantastic place. Thank you. From canada
Love your videos mate, always makes me want to get out there and enjoy our beautiful country. The new growth is so thick and hard work to get through, we have the same where we live in the Upper Murray, what was completely clear after the fires 12 months ago is almost impenetrable now! Another beautiful video to your collection 🧡🧡
Another great video..thank you!
Thank you for the history and acknowledgement - such valuable information to share. Your videos are exceptional! Hope you got some catch-up sleep when you got home.
Mate your videos never cease to amaze me, thanks again for taking the time to put this together!
Great video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. You are great at what you do, keep it up. Thoughts out to you and all Australians from the US right now during all this crazy flooding, hope you're alright!
Nice stuff mate very cool video hope all is well scott. Hope this rain holds up for you.
Was about to eat my lunch when your video got recommend, perfect timing👌
The random YT ads for the Mortal Kombat movie and skin care products and whatnot really put things into perspective. Well done mate love your work.
Reminds me of our Grand Canyon beautiful
