I agree the editing on this one absolutely enhanced the asthetic of your experience especially the music. It felt very serene.
The filming and editing just keep getting better! Beautifully done, thank you.
A swag update! Really stoked to hear it's still happening Scotty. Cheers mate thanks for the videos
Man, thats place was pretty awesome 👌. Special place, special time, lucky boy. Looked like a really good one. Absolute pleasure to watch! Normally I say 'here's to clear skies', but I guess we can scrap that!
My partner and I walked into and camped there 40 years ago. Good to see it is still as I remember it. Magical place.
Wish I knew where it was but understand why he doesn't disclose these beautiful places. I'm from Central Coast so surely this is driving distance.
@@royphaller Its well known, however, on these mega viewed YT channels: shhhhhhhh!!! ;)
@@DougieL Any particular search words I can use? I can't find it! I'd love to go solo camping
@@leighhope1256 'mum's the word'
@@DougieL Does that mean you can't tell me, or that's they're the search words? haha. It's driving me cray cray looking for it lol
This country is so beautiful and so many millions of people take it for granted. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely, i feel theres so little camping content from Australia.
i'm from the other side of the planet myself and haven't been to Australia but its awesome to have this kind of quality on RUclips sharing it with others, the atmosphere is catched so well.
I'm living in The Outbak..therefore living the Dream man..😁😁😁
Hi Arthur...we are blessed to have this place to live in
@@atoieno Yes we are the caretakers and enjoying it is not a right but a privilege.
The penal colony of Australia does have some amazing places.
I live in Canada, and like to believe I live in one of the greatest locations on this planet. After this video, perhaps there is another. Keep it up my friend.
Aussie here. Would love to live in Canada for a few years as your natural environment is absolutely amazing.
The sounds of a fire crackle and drizzling rain is glorious.
The Aussie bush becomes so vivid during and after rain. As a photographer, I really like shooting at these times.
Scotty, this is one of your best, so Australian, so beautiful, relaxing.....so special, so..........excellent, thank you mate!!!!!
Freedom should never ever be surrended.
Wow,I almost expected a prehistoric animal to be grazing in that green patch. What an Awesome country we live in.❤️

Honestly man, before your videos, I really didn’t believe you could do this kind of thing in the Aussie bush - always had it in my mind that it was too harsh and unforgiving. I thought it was all reserved for North America and UK. It’s clear that you’ve really set out to showcase Australia like never seen before and you’ve well and truely done that. What a revelation, thank you!
Would love to also see a break down of the camera gear you’re taking out and how you’re going about getting some of these shots so stable! Even if you just throw it up on patreon or something.
Thank you Sir I so enjoy your walkabout I get to see things that I can not physically get to go too personally my chair, unfortunately, cannot fly. Thank you for giving me a chance while I still have some vision to see such extraordinary spiritual treasures you are truly one of spirits noblemen...
Very kind words indeed sir👍🏾
That’s a huge reason reason why I tune in channels like Scotty’s. You really do get a sense of appreciation for what’s out there and with the world being such a large place it makes it hard to visit every spot, especially when there’s so many as good as these in our back yard!

This is seriously the best I have seen our country showcased, you do a bloody great job showing just how vast and spectacular our country is..... well done mate
Dude, that place almost looked like another planet.
Camera work and music on point.
Australia is just so beautiful.
I'm an Englishman who's never been to Australia. It truly is a magical mystifying country. If I lived near that place I would be camping there every weekend. Wow !
THANKS for the fine scenery! I appreciate your having gone back to the first site with the sheltering overhang and abundant nearby water.
The most incredibly ancient and the vigorous new regrow this, clocked by the gentle hand of its lifeblood; water. A walk in time. Thanks from cold bleak beautiful England.
Beautifully spoken Greg
Amazing. I’ve watched a few of your vids since last week and the tranquility and peace that I absorb is perfect. I live in NY and I work in healthcare, just hits the spot after a long and stressful day. Thank you so much. Subd
So awesome to see how fast this area has recovered after the devastating fires and to hear birds giving you sonethibg pleasant to listen to
Time to grab a beer sit down and watch Scotty go Walkabouts. 👍🍺🍺👍
Exactly my thoughts!
Thanks Scotty. The Australian bush is so resilient and has evolved with fire. Time to rid ourselves of our euro-centric anti fire mentality and embrace the firestick. Or else we will always have the 8 to 10 year mega fire that wipes out everything.
How good is the frog and bird soundtrack!
Beautiful peaceful solitude. Time to watch the grass grow and a camp fire which connects us to generations ancestors who have sat around watching the warming drying flames..peaceful harmony..oh yeah and a beer and camp-fire cooked tucka..
Man best thing to watch on a Friday arvo love the videos mate
Doing the same thing mate. Couldn't agree more.

Watching your reluctance to leave this beautiful place was amongst the highlights of this amazing short film. It's wonderful to watch the area repair itself, nature truly is a marvel and also to see the younger generation building a love of wild places that you will in turn pass on. Thanks for taking us on your journey.
Love the cicadas in the intro! Cancelled out my tinnitus beautifully! 😀 Great vid. Thanks for your efforts.
Enjoy your walkabouts a lot Scotty, thanks. I started "walking about" 60-odd years ago, searching for solitude, never lonely. Born and bred in the north of England you learn to love the rain....we have several areas officially designated as "tropical" and one area in in the northwest designated as "rain forest". I could walk from where I lived to limestone country in 2 or 3 hours, caves and overhangs everywhere, all shapes and sizes, I preferred smaller ones. When the weather is good a rock shelter is a comfortable place to pitch a camp; when the weather is not so good a rock shelter goes beyond comfortable and becomes a cozy place to settle in to, a home-away-from-home for a few days. Great memories....
Loved in the uk for many years, im an aussie . I miss your country a lot and your natural environment is just absolutely beautiful
What an amazing place.. looks like something from a movie.
Magical area to camp in. The rainy night made it special I thinks.
Thankyou😊
An ancient place that takes you back in time - recipe looks great - our aussie bush is amazing
Watching this from Chicago United States, great video 🤙

It’s like another planet. Beautiful.
Mate, places like that sure make you feel like you're a just a blip on histories radar... hands down the best place you've visited yet...
Thanks for sharing Scotty, it's so nice to see how you appreciate the beauty of nature. I grew up in the bush and now live in Europe in a major city. Seeing your videos takes me back to my youth and allows me to escape back home. It's a reminder of how much I miss Australia and the bush. Your videos take me back there, and keep at least some connection with the Australian bush, even if through the internet. You're doing great videos and what makes them better is your enthusiasm and appreciation of what you do. Keep it up mate.
Beautiful footage again. Such a lovely spot to camp. Thanks again for posting for all of the world to enjoy!
My mate's brother was/is the Nat Parks manager for the area and he almost cried for days after the fire went through there. He's a tough guy but the mass carnage suffered by the wildlife was beyond belief. However, it's always incredible how the flora regenerates and we certainly hope the same for the fauna over time. Great vid and cheers from Sydney - Dave
Scotty, I don't mean to cast a bad light on your video, but did no one tell you that it is a very dangerous thing to build a campfire under a rock overhang? Warm to hot smoke on cold rocks causes them to crack and fracture, potentially bringing them down upon you with catastrophic results. The rock slabs on overhang floor further back in should be a great hint. Stay safe, mate!
What a beautiful country we have. Love watching your videos, true Aussie. 🏞
Something very therapeutic about watching your videos Scotty. Thank you
The landscape is simply stunning. Looks surreal. And the birds chirping in the background adds to the magic of the place. Thanks for sharing
I haven't seen a better camp site ever in any of your vids. This is a special place.
Bushwalking in a eucalypt forest in the rain is the best. My favourite time to head out.
wow, what an amazingly magical spot! I love that you take time to zoom into that regrowth! the colours!
Great campsite, great dinner, great day. Great vid man!
Awesome spot Scotty, to borrow a phrase "How's the Serenity"!
Loving your choice of music through the whole video mate. Really adds to the atmosphere
Is an awesome place, must return myself.
Lots of places to explore in the surrounding area.
Where is this? He mentioned Daru country but I'm not familiar. The island Daru?
I love to be out in the rain. The colors are so saturated and richly viberant. The Outback in the rain is so magical and otherworldly to me, because it's such a different environment from what I'm accustomed to. Thanks for letting us tag along!
Scotty, you out did yourself on this one mate. Bloody unbelievable. What an incredible location. Thank you for sharing.

Well, that was magical!
What a special place! I’d guess that many viewers wish they had locales like that to explore. Thanks for sharing and beautiful work, edit was great, lovely music choices, beautiful panning shots. Your videos are a pleasure to watch.
That first cave overlooking the country had a great view!
Awesome video Scotty and the rain gave it an almost ethereal atmosphere. 👌🏼
Epic. Claiming. Music choice is on point. High quality sound/mic's. Whenever you're hesitant about what sort of content you need to be producing look back at this video and learn from yourself.
05.50 here (London) perfect thing to wake up to.
just think.. a few million years ago you were squatting in a lava bubble, lol. Nice, thank you! :)
Love it Scotty. Such a picturesque setting. Good to see the regrowth after the fires.

eucalyptus bush in the rain is the best.
Man your production quality skyrocketed in this video! Great content, I'm really enjoying your insight into the Aussie bush. Definitely helping me find inspiration and motivation to get out there asap.
Thanks, Scotty. I live in London now and really miss camping back home. Your vids help me connect with it and to deal with missing the outback and hearing the wildlife I grew up with. Keep it up, mate. Cheers.

Me and some mates are setting off for a multi day out past Wollombi (Darkinjung country) tomorrow. A perfect vid to get me pumped up!
Awesome video Scotty.
The land that time forgot.
Wow. Just thinking, my ancestors lived in these places, take me back to those times!! Love ya scotty✌️
I always get the feeling that u sigh wen leaving n have to return to civilization. Me too. Once my daughters old enough, i plan on doing this with her, i just might never come back tho!
Breathtakingly beautiful!
What a spot, great video as always Scotty!
Cheers mate.
Things, here where I live, have been pretty crazy lately. Thank you for sharing your sacred space; the serenity is much appreciated.
Appreciate you cleaning up the fire. Too many pits are left around the bush.
I was scrolling down the comments to see if anyone else appreciated that. Tread lightly and leave no trace.
mate, this video is by far the best 1 with heavy rain . so beautiful . thanks for sharing .
Hi Scotty, there is nothing quite like the Aussie bush in the wet. It's my favourite time. The colours you only see when it is raining. The smells you only experience when it's wet. Loved this adventure it brings back so many wonderful memories. Cheers.
These mountains are very attractive.
Around every turn, the scenery is even more beautiful than what we just saw. What an amazing place, and it is so great to see foliage coming back from the firestorms. That valley looked like roo paradise. I hope the animals can recover too.
What an amazing hike! It's lovely to see nature restore so quickly from those awful forest fires last year!
Hope you keep feeding us with this amazing footage!
Scotty I love your adventures. I look forward to watching you immerse yourself into our wilderness. It inspires me to do the same. This video in particular.. what a magical place. Keep up the great work. You have a beautiful soul and thanks for sharing with us
What an incredible spot! Absolutely mind blowing. That dinner was the goods 🤙
Looks like a relaxing camp spot
Scotty, I think your next adventure may be on to a cooking show. Your meals are getting better with each production. Bloody awesome watching another adventure of yours. Thank you for sharing.
Far out Scotty I cannot believe how different that looks after the fires. There was some views from the rim before the fires but the rest was dense bush. Crazy.
An extremely well produced video showcasing a sample of Aussie beauty. Well done mate.
Great camera work. Quite a hidden gem..expecting bushrangers to pop out around every corner.
Excelente video amigo🏕️👍

Love hiking in the rain. Makes all the colours pop and just seems more peaceful.
Scotty. It is so beautiful there
As an Aussie currently living in Africa and stuck over here due to Covid, for the time being, I have pretty serious homesickness. Your videos are like medicine for the soul. Thank you for sharing your adventures mate.
