    Oh. I just tilt my neck from side to side, I don't use my hands or anything. The first time I did it hurt, the second time, and every time onward it felt FANTASTIC. The only problem is that my neck just cracks REALLY LOUDLY. No little pop, IT'LL CRACK 3-6 TIMES AT ONCE. Once I did it in class and my friend looked up confused and went, "Did someone just break their arm??" and I shook my head and went, "Nah that was just my neck."
    This probably isn't safe, but it's satisfying to hear the crunch and then feel the release of built-up energy. However, I only do it once a day or so, I rarely do it twice, let alone three times. I know it probably won't end up snapping my neck because it's not twisting my head, but it probably isn't safe regardless. I'm still gonna do it but also try your method as well.

    Hey guys, I'm new, I drive locally for a living, city bus. I don't really have a chance to do a lot of walking or stretching. Can you recommend a few small leg exercises to prevent blood clots in the legs? Also, what would you recommend for upper mid back? That's where I hold my tension... Remember, I'm seated most of the time. Is there anything I can do to help tightness in that area?

    • @fairwitness7473
      @fairwitness7473 4 года назад +15

      @raha tattoo wow, thank you for the recognition and appreciation. Most days are good :-)
      But, occasionally someone makes a very poor choice and someone else gets shot on the bus. Fortunately, never my bus, knock on wood... But I think I would feel a lot safer if every bus had a barrier to protect the driver. Mace and a flash light isn't a great deterrent in my humble opinion.
      On the bright side, most people are friendly and many people say thank you, every day. The regulars make it worth it. I especially love the little old white lady who goes to her best friend's house, a little old black lady, and the next time I'm thru they both get on and go to the bingo Hall.
      Those two crack me up. You'd think they were sisters with the way they carry on and argue about everything. And don't you dare tell them that you don't have an opinion about something, because they will talk your ear off! I learned this lesson quickly, the first time! They stayed on the bus to help inform me and help me make a proper opinion. I now know it's better to have some sort of opinion... Regardless of what my wife says! LoL

Every person who gets on the bus is a book to be read. We all have stories. I haven't found a story I didn't like. Everyone has a reason for whatever it is they are doing. It's interesting to me to listen to the reasons. I get to sample all walks of life from my seat. The nobility of mankind walks thru my doors daily. But not everyone knows that about themselves. So I try to remind them with a smile and treat them with dignity. It's worked well so far. :-) thanks again for the kudos!

Same with laying flat on a bed, head on pillow while slowly shifting the body below the neck to release neck tension. As long as it’s smooth motion and your hands are off, I think it’s safe. It's important to note (and often forgotten) that a stiff neck or tension on the muscles can be caused by a psychological issue, such as anxiety. If your neck gets tense often and several times per day, go to a chiropractor and have him do an x-ray of your spine. If there are no physical signs of this pain, then it's more than likely that there's something off in your brain that is causing it. If that's the case, get yourself to a psychiatrist and try to discover the underlying problem.

    I sort of naturally crack mine. Like I tilt my chin up and to either the left or right and have my head go back slightly and get a crack or several ones.
    Is that safe? I don't force pressure with my hands or sling my head back or to the side quick or thrust. To me it feels just as natural as breathing.

    I got a problem. I tried to crack my neck with this technique 3 days ago... but I applied more pressure because I really felt that my neck was about to crack hard.
    The thing is that a part of it cracked only half way, and now it hurts. It's a constant pain, doesn't matter if I look down, left, right: it always hurts. Actually, looking up doesn't...
    I feel like if I could get it to pop, it's going to fix the problem. BUT IT JUST DOESN'T WANT TO. My neck no longer pops, no matter how I move it.

    I dont understand how all the videos saying "how to crack your neck safely" (and not just on this channel) dont show any way of actually CRACKING your neck. They are always some sort of stretch or something (obviously each channel and video has there own type and variation) and sure for some the stretches work ok and some may even get a small crack by accident but for most of us these are not actual ways of CRACKING our necks, which again is weird to me since it literally is what the title says and im assuming why probably 90% of the people clicked on the video (im sure there are a few just looking for any type of pain relief). Does anyone actually have a way or video showing actual cracking techniques?
