Hey Mike! Ive been trying to figure out "Purr and Sway" all morning but i cant figure out the positioning. Any chance you could do a play through sometime?? If you put up tabs for it on your website id happily purchase them btw ;)
This was marvelous Mike, I like incorporating classical Indian musical phrases into my compositions and your method of showing how to take advantage of DADGAD will prove to be invaluable 😊
I can play a piece off tabliture a hundred times and still barely remember a bar, but learning a song this way I learn it almost immediately and remember it forever.

Antoine dufour, Mike Dawes and most of the the percussive guitar artists don't want to share their techniques...there's only two artist who share their art .one is Andy McKee and mostly Calum graham..Calum graham few years back used to share his composition tutorial for free but now he charges for those videos and it's fair enough..atleast he teaches us...other artists don't do that at all.

Yes I've always wondered why the capo Mike. Is it cos the tune sounds better there. Why the 2cnd fret. Why was here comes the sun at the 7th fret. Is it just cos it sounds good and that's what the player feels like or is there a particular reason
