I had passy for almost 1 year and I just realized that my glazing is also peeling off. I contacted my SA and set up appointment for repair. I just took it to the store today and they told me it was a known issue with passy bad and it’s defect. So they offered me to exchange it since they had one available at store. So I just exchanged mine with new one. Also if you have defective bag they said that even if it’s 3 years passed they will still honor and exchange it.
I am glad they sorted out for you quickly. We are still waiting for the bag and not sure how long we will wait. I really wish they replaced the bag right away. I guess each country is different. Where did you exchange your bag? Is it in the USA? Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
Mine was replaced in USA. I guess every store and SA has different approach to the issue. Glad mine got sorted out easily and I thought it was the for every boutique. After I watched your video I realized it could have been a hassle. Do sorry that you had been treated like that that’s why I wrote my experience so anyone else has the same issue will know exactly what to expect. Hope that your bag will be repaired soon.
Oh dear… I have the Passy and it is one of my favourite bag. I do alternate my bags every few days but will keep an eye on the possible glazing on this bag.
Thanks for sharing your experience. The LV passy was on my wishlist for a few months and hearing your story now, I think I might change my mind now. Long long time ago, I remembered LV used to have a free lifetime policy to repair their canvas products if it's their fault but now they seem to be charging $$ whenever they can, by stamping a 1 yr policy. Perhaps they are not confident of their products or the quality has really gone down. I used to be able to use a LV wallet for years with no issues. But now, it seems otherwise. Yikes! 😰 Yeah, keep us posted when the bag returns
Yes, I also hear that they used to have a lifetime warranty but so sad that they now offer only 1 year free of charge repair. I will update on this more when we get the bag 😉thanks for watching dear 💕
Oooh noooon what a bummer 😣 It’s sad that LV doesn’t put their effort on the glazing issues especially for their price tag 😣 I had the same issues with LV quality issues on my Pochette Metis and also Palm Springs Mini but luckily they were all repaired for free and had them back within 8 weeks. Keep us posted!

Oh no I have the Passy also! Mines is about 6 mos old and i used it less than 10 times and no problem so far dued to the amount of usage. Frankly im thinking of selling it & get the Victoire. After owning it i find both the chain and the leather straps on the Passy looks kina cheap lol
I agree the strap is on a thinner side, I wish it was better quality, so we didn’t have to go through these repairs and issues. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻😊

Oh no, LV should be able to repair. They repaired my mom’s passy bag for free.

I got the LockMe chain bag which is the same style and comes in full leather and I love it!! Not as flashy with LV logos everywhere 😉
