- 🎨Choosing Grout🎨
Laticrete makes some of the best grouts on the market 😊
I've done dozens of showers & tiling projects using their grouts
All of their grouts have a very fine aggregate in them
An aggregate strengthens a grout joint & provides longevity
Most of them can be used down to 1/16" grout joints
A very popular and easy to use grout is Spectralock1 - amzn.to/3wGBZXZ
For demonstration of use check out these sections in other courses:

For this shower we will be using Permacolor Grout (Twilight blue) - amzn.to/3Ioswa2
This is considered a high performance grout that is fast setting and can be used on 1/1/16" grout joints
Permacolor does not have to be sealed, but I highly recommend it for areas of continual use
A sealer will maximize stain protection
Although twilight blue is so dark I can't imagine it getting any stains 😄
Laticrete sealer - amzn.to/3TppjNU
For demonstration of applying sealer check out this section of the Home Office Bathroom Course - bit.ly/4cCKOSX
For white or light color grouts, I highly recommend Spectralock Pro Epoxy Grout - amzn.to/3PGU8v7
Its the best epoxy on the market in my opinion
Super fine aggregate & stain resistent
👉 Check out these tutorials for use of Spectralock Pro Epoxy Grout

Ardex makes some of the best sponges out there - amzn.to/49KVUn5
Its hard to switch after using these for so many years 👍
A good grout float makes a world of difference too 👊
Troxell Grout Float - amzn.to/3v9Clpn
My other grout recommendations:
👉Mapei FA High Performance Grout:
👉 Spectralock Pro Epoxy is actually my favorite epoxy! Easy to use & super stain resistant
👉 Spectralock1 is the only ready to use premix that I recommend (non-white colors)
👉 Laticrete Permacolor Select would be my second choice for high performance grouts

I’m about to grout my shower walls (not the shower floor) with a zellige look tile, and I’m up in the air about the grout to use. I was/am planning to use white grout…would you go with laticrete epoxy for that(I have used the laticrete epoxy and liked it) it was my first time using and it or do you think the premixed spectralock is better?
Epoxy always wins.
