I used to live in Williamsburg and I used to go BG a lot. That ride used to be different. It was interactive and you rode in like a carriage. It was a 5d coaster.

Welcome to Virginia! Tampa Jay and Chris. Enjoy Busch gardens Williamsburg. It is a fun park to visit. I love the Budweiser Clydesdales. The horses are gorgeous. Hope your road trip is fun. I bet the Busch gardens in Tampa Bay is nice. 😊
August is the start of my favorite time of year. Specifically, how autumn/halloween starts leaking into summer tiny bits at a time. Spooky/Autumn decor slowly over time starts to pop up in stores, online, in ads, eventually in videogames, and videos like this and the last few (the haunted walkthroughs) you've posted start showing up on RUclips by various channels touting "The spooky season is coming", and as time goes on more of it appears and it gets more and more apparant each day and then before you know it the leaves are an orange hue, the wind picks up, and it's Fall in October. I love this stuff. I also call the timeframe of Oct - Dec Holiday Row because it goes Halloween Thanksgiving and finally Christmas back to back. My love for Halloween is rivalled only by my love for the Holidays. I'm stoked for it.
@@RM-jo8gy I visited for the first time last year and loved it, but DarKoaster is clearly a lazy effort on theming. I’m glad they’ve given Loch Ness Monster another lease on life though.
I was so confused about this by the thumbnail. I audibly asked myself "So you ride jet skis through a castle? Is the castle like on water? Is the water, the jet ski, or the castle haunted by that monster? I have to click this" 😂
Always enjoy your videos Jay but especially this road trip since it's always amazing to see our home state and near by areas by a different view. Always love hearing your reactions on new rides! 👏🏻👏🏻 We really enjoyed Dark Coaster when we rode it last year. Next time you visit, you have got to ride it in the back. You see a lot more than being in the front. Glad to see Cris got her chance to finally visit the park too. Tell her that the signatures were done by Platinum Pass Holders during the preview center phase. Tim and Katie's signatures are on there 🤭So happy y'all made it back before the storm. So excited for Howl-o-Scream 25, we will be there opening weekend. 👻 Also, side note, you said you were going to go to cracker Barrel for dinner. Something to remember for your next visit, there is a Mellow Mushroom in Williamsburg 😀.

Im looking forward to getting to this Busch Gardens as I live in Virginia now and uts about 3 hours away! I moved from Saint Louis where we had Anheiser Busch everything. Grants Farm and the Clydesdale stables, the brewery and more! Glad to see you had time to make the stop!
Been to this theme park and it's great. But I think Efteling is by far the most beautiful park I've been to. Probably my favorite theme park I've ever been to.

The storm was AWESOME!!! We got endless monsoons in Nokomis. Good times! Almost half of Sarasota county lost power. FPL ROCKS!!!!! They got power back up in about 1 day those guy ROCK!!!
Good to see BG Williamsburg again. This was my first theme park and the area of Virginia I grew up in. I worked in that park for 4 years and Water Country down the road for a year. BGW was my very first job. Actually the building you showed at 2:39 which is Guest Services now was Group Sales when I worked there and that was my first job. That little kiddo plane ride 22:52 has always been there. Guess they had it in both parks. I went to Howl-O-Scream there opening year. It was awesome! The first year if I remember correctly it was sponsored by Pepsi so they had more of a budget for it because of that. That was the first year I worked at BGW so I had to go to the new event when they opened it.
I haven't been to Bush Gardens Williamsburg since 2001! My exwife and I went on a EAST COAST theme park tour. We went to Carowinds in SC/NC, Kings Dominion and Bush Gardens in Virginia and Six Flags in Atlanta Georgia!
I just recently saw a picture of Lawn Flamingos with Skeleton Riders and Some just Hanging On. Immediately thought of You. Halloween Flaaaaamiiiiiinnngoooosss 🎃🦩

My first theme park was supposed to be Disneyland, but it ended up being Marriotts Great America Santa Clara, then Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, then Marine World Africa USA, then Disneyland, then Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, then Tokyo DisneySea, then Tokyo Disneyland. All years apart of course, except the last two which was on one trip but I went to each park twice during that trip.
Yay Busch gardens Williamsburg! Did you get a chance to ride the revamped Loch Ness monster? I think now they have scenes of the Loch Ness monster when you go through the cave. Germany roller coasters have a haunted theme at bgw (alpengeist is awesome smooth coaster i think it is like alpine ghost translated or something like that. Verboten you go through the haunted forest scene . There is this one RUclipsr I think verboten troll is the name he has the funniest ride throughs on the Busch gardens Williamsburg coasters (he is like a drill sergeant on the coasters 😆
@@TampaJay gotcha. Yeah I think they just recently completed the revamp on Loch Ness monster. I have not been on it yet, but definitely am looking to go ride it when I get a chance. Alpengeist is very similar to great bear at Hershey park. Lots of really cool coasters
You ever been to cedar point in Sandusky ohio? they have halloweekends there. I live in Ohio so I go all the time. Also blood prison at the Ohio state reformatory is awesome if you ever get to go check it out, it's a really good haunted house, and it haunted for real by old inmates of the reformatory! You should check them out!
Heads up Jay regarding fiends we actually had the show for a long time but it went on hiatus back in about 2018 so it’ll be returning for us and unfortunately you’re good friend Jack of the lantern will not be returning with Jack is back this year
People talk about FL being hot, but the mid-atlantic in summer is no joke. Only difference is the heat is gradual in Florida, while DELMARVA is like being in an excessive sauna for three months, then you forget. Love BG Williamsburg theming. Saw Santa in the Irish castle.
Yeah… I love that Darkoaster was able to keep the theme of DarKastle, but it left me a little bruised on the left leg because the leg holes are a bit small. Still a good ride though!

Darkoaster is down a lot. You’re lucky it was broke when you walked up, the line normally stays long. Pantheon is way better.
