Great tutorial, finally what i was looking for! One question for you or anyone out here, my embossing has a weird texture on it, it's not completely smooth like yours. Do you have any idea how to fix this or smoothen it out? Thank you!
I've spent hours searching for something like this. Finally! Just one issue. How to turn off Affects diffuse in RS 3.5, as there's no ray tab in current version?
Nice video... I know you can't make this project available to download but would love to have a deep dive into the node setup. Any chance you could make a 'generic' logo/label version and allow to download/purchase?
Thank You for taking the time to create this breakdown. This has been the most informative/digestible tutorial I've managed to come across on creating textures with nodes. I look forward to checking out future tutorials!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us and your really informative and well-made tutorials. However, maybe you might consider changing your screen ratio to 16:9 ratio for future recordings? A lot of screen real estate gets lost with the black bars at the top and bottom and it's really hard to read the small text…
Hello Ross, thank you for your efford and this spectacular tutorial. I would love to follow along with the Project files... but I can't find them on your gumroad shop. Can you help me ?
Hi! You may use the "Materialize" software to do that. You will have to export the SVG/Vector to an image first (like PNG, JPG, etc) and then create a normal map from that one inside Materialize. Roughness, and others may be created inside that software as well Hope that helps! Cheers!
Hi. very cool tutorial. you really did a very cool job. how did you do the normal map ? thanks !!! I meant what program and how? in photoshop? I am very bad at mapping normals in photoshop, so I just decided to ask))
Since you're already working with smart objects in PS, why not make the alpha mask in AI? My designer heart skipped a beat when I saw you select the logo with the magic wand tool... The magic wand's jagged edges haunt my nightmares. It might be me tho, I'm quite OCD when it comes to logos and stuff. I'd rather not do selections like that. But apart from that, awesome tutorial! Really in depth explanation.
Just checked and Photoshop is discontinuing the 3D tools in photoshop. So the Normal creation will be removed. Its a shame as you now then need to use another software to do the same task.
Finally someone on this YT platform who knows what their talking about how to handle files across different design softwares.
Man your tutorial from another world , thank you for the effort .
Thank you Ali, that means a lot!

Thank you!!!
thanks for the cc0textures tip!
You're welcome!
I missed this
Well typical issue of the redshift material that label is visible backside of the label.
colored coated paper is not a problem but white to have reflections, incredibly difficult
How can I do the Displacement thing with NORMAL, but in Corona Render?
Under the bump channel of your material you can add a ‘Normal’ effect and then link your texture :)
I love your tutorials🙌🇹🇷
Thank you! I hope you find this one useful :)
@@iamrossmason I enjoyed the video and I believe it helped me. Thank you very much for your videos😊
Love it!
