- my most requested video.....EVER ! i finally did it ! here are my tips on how to thrift like a seasoned thrifter. i hope that these little tips helped y'all out !
thanks to thrifting i was able to really really expand my wardrobe and my style ! thrifting and i have a very close relationship, almost all of my very favorite clothes were thrifted, and i have so many wonderful memories in them ( reference my "fav thrifted clothes" vid, haha • Most Worn Thrifted Clo... )
i really hope that this video will help y'all discover some new favorite clothes !

I found my prom dress from the thrift store today. I PAYED 8€ FOR IT! People usually need to spend 200-600€ on their dresses. The dress was the same style that I was looking for so I am really happy.

*A vintage, slightly ripped up, Levis
demon jacket I’m convinced is from the 80s
*So many designer men’s hoodies, don’t forget to look in the men’s section as you can sometimes find some great things
*A massive white furry jacket, yes I’m probably never going to wear it but I had to have it

- so many mom jeans. they're so cute. so many.
- a collection of band sweaters. specializing in eighties. my favorites are my toto and my Dave Matthews sweaters. so soft.
- a leather jacket with a big bird on the back that says "lil birdie" under it. convinced it's actually from the grease era.
- big chunky vintage vans? I'm not sure what they are but they're big and floppy and they make loud sounds and I love them.
- and my all time favorite thing at a thrift store.. a Polaroid camera. an actual freaking Polaroid camera. like the ones that cost 80 dollars. 6 dollars and still rocking the og paint.

When I was younger, one of my aunties had 6 kids and they were rich. They used to be snobby and picked on me cause I wore secondhand clothing cause I live with my grandparents 🙃🙃🙃 not afraid to wear secondhand as an adult now. Still get judged by my boyfriend but oh well.
Sammy Jones your boyfriend has bad taste in fashion then cause most thrifted clothing is really really cool... tbh if I were rich I would buy a few new things but I would mostly thrift cause it’s insanely fun especially with clothing .
yea but keep in mind it helps the environment and people are then less likely to buy clothes from stores, such as zara, that use sweatshop labor. I also grew up poor, but I think it's great how people finally appriciate thrift shopping. It saves so much money too, its a win-win situation. It just seems like when anything becomes popular among women people have to criticize it and call it basic, keep in mind that sexism comes into play here.

Undergarments are on trend. Slips look surprisingly modern with unique lace details, bustiers are everywhere.
Yeah I don’t recommend under garments such as underwear because you don’t know where that person’s private area as been or has touched. But lace stuff such as a top is an okay I guess.

okay so there’s this thrift store right next to my school and i was skipping 7th one day (shh) and i was walking around and i locked eyes with her. she was so beautiful. a porcelaine goose with a pink dress and a purple apron and hat. she was a BAD BITCH she had her hand on her hip. i didn’t have money and my friend didn’t wanna pay and my friend said we’d come back tomorrow and if she was still there it was meant to be. we brought it to the front and asked if they can hold it bc we’d be back the same time tomorrow and the lady said they usually don’t but she’d make an exception. the lady in line behind us asked how much it was ($3.99) and she said she’d buy it for us. we freaked out we were so happy and then the lady said “it’s meant to be” and we freaked out even more. i asked the lady what her name was and she said gabi and i told her we’d name it after her. we named her gabriel(and a half)a and i have her to my mom for christmas bc my mom always feeds the ducks and birds in the neighborhood. i still have her in my kitchen and she’s thriving

uncoolalex When you look for sweaters and jeans and such, not all sizes are the same so get multiple in a size up or down so you have a variety.
I never was interested in thrift stores but after seeing this I really want to go to my local goodwill ???

my favorite finds are:
- 3 pairs of vans, a purple pair, a white pair and a black leather pair, price of all these combined weren't even close to even half the price of a new pair of vans
- i found a beatles shrine that included a vintage beatles tee, lots of beatles pins, a beatles book and a beatles bag you could buy as a set. they only accepted cash which i didn't know so i ran off to an atm but my stupid ass forgot to ask them to put it away for me while i did that so as i came back i was scared someone bought it already, but i was in luck it was still there
- i've thrifted 8 pairs of levi's but i've got one pair that are my favorite jeans because the color is so vibrantly blue by the seams down the legs and so beautifully worn on the thighs, the knees recently ripped as well its just great
i've bought all my clothes and furniture at thrift stores for the past 2 years and 90% of my wardrobe is thrifted but these things are special to me and filled me with joy as i ran towards them in when i saw them in the store (not really, i probably calmly walked, running in a store makes you look stupid and is embarrassing)
When you go to a really preppy school and you're the only one who looks like they've just walked out a vintage store

I've been going to thrift stores since I was a kid and always hated them as a kid because they overwhelmed me, but since I started thrifting on my own a couple years back I've come to realize a good tip is to section off the store in your mind so that it doesn't seem as overwhelming and cramped full of things and also go on days where you can make a whole day out of it because thrifting while in a rush is no fun and kind of leaves me a little disappointed cause I feel like I didn't get to look through everything

Ahh yes I found some brand new/ broken in spectra doc martens for like half off retail at buffalo exchange. Still expensive but they were almost completely broken in and they served me very well on my rainy trip to Europe. Im not a very seasoned thrifter but this is one of my best thrift store finds

Everytime i go to thrift stores I always find a good pair of converse. I have four pairs now from goodwill and savers. One blue, one red, one black, and one pink pair. I cleaned them up and now they look good as new. Two of the pairs were $6 and up while the other two were $4 and under. Savers is definitely good for shoes at a good price. :)

the best thing i ever found was this HUGE men's shirt with a muted rainbow stripe pattern, i use it like a long jacket as an extra layer when the weather calls for it. it really is massive, i have to roll up the sleeves a considerable amount in order to use my hands but I'M TOO OBSESSED WITH THE PATTERN TO CARE

- zip up Nike windbreaker, all grey with a dark blue stripe down the sleeves. ($2)
-black velvet turtleneck short sleeve shirt. Absolutely stunning with my denim skirt and corduroy jackets.
Sadly, since I'm a fatty, I struggle finding amazing jeans like everyone else so most of the time I have to buy from forever 21 for good denim, but other than that thrifting is my hobby, passion, etc.
