Lol the fact that you RUclipsrs have to apologize about things like wearing glasses, your voice sounding off because you're sick, rain in the background etc is RIDICULOUS. People need to chill. You guys are just human. We are just human. Let's all not forget that you'll DON'T owe us anything. You do you!
As a Mi'kmaq First Nation Woman from Nova Scotia, Canada, I admire you Danelle for covering these MMIW cases that don't get much coverage ❤ Been watching you for a few years now
Seriously!! I am unbelievably elated she covers MMIWG & MMIM (Missing & Murdered Indigenous Men). I am Dakota from Sisseton Wahpeton. My father was is a MMIM. Case is unsolved.
You could literally film in a potato sack in the middle of a cow field and I'd still watch and like. :) Thank you for bringing attention to these cases.
Me too. I love your videos. I listened to the podcast and still wanted your take on the case. I believe it was a black truck that Alberta got into because that's what most people recalled. Eye witness testimony is notoriously flawed. I think if Jack didn't do it, he knows what happened.
Yeah it's super annoying when 95% of the comments are not about the case. The most annoying are: 1. OMG I NEVER CLICKED SO FAST! 2. OMG you're so beautiful (and other related coments) 3. OMG I've never been this early! 4. First! Seriously. Talk about the case.
I am from north america but didnt know so thank you :) Edit: I just realized I'm not from north america lmfao I'm out in the Pacific ocean (hawaii) but my brain just automatically equated NA with US/CAN and since I'm in the US I was like .. me! 🤪🔫
I thought that was INSANE when I heard it. Especially in a small place where I’m sure there can’t be TOO much crime. You’d think finding that would send everybody wild.
Even if they didn't know a person was missing- bloody clothes and items? In what world does that seem fine and dandy?! Even if it was an accident or animal attack, what if someone's hurt or needs help? You can't just ignore these things. Or rather shouldn't ignore them, just because it's easier to do so.
Prince Rupert had and has quite a lot of crime, RCMP just don't bother investigating anything that has to do with indigenous people. I am from Prince Rupert, in 2010 I was raped in my home by so.eone who I had thought was a friend. He was a local indigenous man and I am also indigenous, it took them almost a year to arrest him. They actually gave my case to an officer who was not allowed to leave the detachment. It is only that I am an educated indigenous woman with my social work degree and my perseverance to him being charged and facing trial, that I ended up successful in that fight and due to the evidence I kept on my assault, when presein court...he decided to plead guilty. He got to keep his job, while in jail for just over 6 months, while I lost everything and ended up with PTSD. The RCMP are a joke.....with huge racism and abuse towards indigenous
Honestly people who are pressed about glasses...seriously?! There are bigger things to be worried about in the world, not Danelle's glasses & the glare. Just saying. Plus, I LOVEUH YOUR GLASSES.♡ I also wear glasses because I NEED to, not because have to. Difference there. Lots of love from Brazil. ♡
Seriously, like they are pervs to mention glasses. But I know people who freak the f out of a cooking personality not wearing gloves to mix meat or something that only the cook's family is going to eat.. 🙄 not sent to all of those subscribed to their channel.
As someone that RUINED her eyesight by refusing to wear her glasses in highschool bc of bullying.. let the woman wear her damn glasses! Also not everyone can wear contacts (I personally can't as I'm allergic for example). These people complaining are dumb lmao
Danelle-Don't worry about ur glasses. They're just fine & anybody that has a problem with them, don't look at the screen.. it's real simple. EDIT~Thanks For The Likes Y'all 💖🙏
Heck half the time I listen to the videos and don’t watch the full thing (I listen to the whole thing but may not WATCH it). Like ?!?!?! Are people seriously not going to support the channel and cases she covers because she wears glasses!? Jeez get over it lol
Aldc Ocean Eyes nope not just you! 😂 I listen while I’m cleaning or doing dishes or in the car more often than not. I usually just don’t have time to watch.
I know right! How ridiculous! Couldn't believe it when she started apologising, nevermind that people had actually complained! Mind blown ha ha, some people really are petty. I mostly just listen too, catch a glimpse when I can, passes my work so quickly
When my daughter was 3 she was hit by a car, I remembered the car as light blue, my son remembered the car as brown & my daughter who got hit remembered the car as black. My daughter was right it was black. This goes to show how poor our memory's can be.
@@lindseykelly4659 She saw a kitten & ran in front of the car. My son is wild & always doing crazy stuff but never gets hurt. Where as my daughter has tripped getting off a bus & busted up her nose, blood everywhere. Split her eyebrow open sliding down a slide at hungry jacks & so on.
I am from Prince Rupert and was 14 years old when Alberta went missing. I can tell you that at night Rupert had jam packed bars and when the bars closed everyone from all the surrounding bars would group together in front of Bogey's. This was called Bar Crowd and it was a fun and wild time. I was a wild teenager and would drink and then go walk around bar crowd and have a blast. It was when people planned what party yo go, hook up for the night, fights...lots and lots of fights. It could be very scary, but exciting for a young teenage girl. Rupert used to be crazy in the summer when the fishing was good and canneries where running, lots of money for hard work and people would then party hard. There have been many indigenous people who have mysteriously died and there never is a person found guilty. I am indigenous from one of the reserves close to Rupert called Lax Kwalaams or Port Simpson. Rupert is also the end of the line for the highway of tears, where woman still get killed or are missing. RCMP here barely investigate or care for the indigenous people.
I'm from Rupert too. Sad story... Makes me question or suspect allot of people now. But we both know the RCMP in Rupert are racist as heck and couldn't care less about DNA or blood evidence. They drag there feet on anything First Nations... So we may never know. ☹️
I'm mixed blood Cherokee and Monacan and I appreciate the work that Danelle puts into these cases. The police attitude of "Just another drunk Indian" is sickening!
@@cherylh292 I have found some other channels that cover MMIW cases, there just aren't enough. Danelle does a good job on getting these out there, with good, factual information, though. That's for sure.
I'm just gonna say it. I think Carol is involved. The amount of people who claimed they saw Carol with Jack and Alberta's startling, especially when Carol herself denys going anywhere after the bar. So I'm thinking Jack, Ken and Carol know something and none of them are willing to talk
Thing with small towns is, you often find everyone knows who is guilty, but they just aren't talking. Or they deal with it small town justice style. I've read some insane stories over the years.
I wouldn't say it was "complaining" but rather pointing out something of which she may not have been aware. I admit that I pointed the glare out and asked if she'd consider not wearing them next time. She kindly replied that she needed to wear them and I said 'fair enough'.
kryer981 that’s like telling someone to take out their hearing aid. It is something you notice but it would be even more annoying if she stopped doing videos all together. We definitely need to be more thankful to you-tubers we treat them as if we are paying them out of our own money to do a job, they don’t need to be here, they choose to be here. They ain’t our employees.
@Chell Belle no need to be complaining about the glare on someone's glasses either. That is so pathetic. Only the most spoiled rotten brats in life would bother to do such a thing. A little glare upsets their world enough to actually complain to Danelle about it? That is really weird of anyone doing so.
People do that to Stephanie Harlowe too. It's ridiculous. As someone who also needs glasses to SEE, it's not only weird but honestly kind of awful to want someone to give up or worsen one of their 5 senses so you don't have to be slightly bothered by a speck of light. It's free entertainment in the first place, ffs.
Was just binging some of your older videos so this post just made my day! I sent you a suggestion about BRIANNA POORMAN; a black teen that went missing from Long Island, NY about a year ago but no one seems to be covering it. Brianna was my sister’s neighbor, and my sister keeps one of her drawings on her refrigerator praying for her safe return. I know you’re very busy, but I really hope you get a chance to look into her case. 💛 Thank you for covering the underreported cases of minorities! You are so appreciated!
Wow your not kidding I just searched for any info about miss Brianna an hardly any news coverage they state the same thing on all I clicked on 15yo long braids last seen at her home nothing more shes a child more coverage NEEDS done I'll keep her in my thoughts, prayers and you never know in my area ( Louisville/ Fort Knox Ky)
Alisse Hey! Thanks I submitted a Case Request a few months back regarding Brianna’s story Really appreciate the help though. You have a great day as well 💛
Everytime you speak on MMIW I am so grateful ❤️. I’m not indigenous but I do live in Canada. The treatment of our indigenous people is so unfair, unfortunately it’s due to years and years of misrepresentation and lies . Please never stop 💜 thank you 🙏🏻
I’m not indigenous or from Canada but I hear all these horrible stories of MMIW. It truly bothers me that these women never get the justice. I hope something will change
People should learn the true history about our Native American people It is so sad what was done to our ancestors. I left my reservation because living there was just horrible which is sad because I miss participating in all of our traditional ceremonies. I am a proud native Pueblo woman. Danelle thank you for bringing light yet again to these stories. I recommend his podcast especially the story of Cleo on Missing & Murdered Finding Cleo!!! 💕💕💕💕
CINDY619 - similar has happened to our Indigenous Peoples here in Australia. It is very sad. It’s like they are stuck between two cultures and are lost. I don’t know what the solution is because they can’t go backwards and they need to keep their culture. They have to be allowed to make the decisions on their future themselves instead of others telling them what is best for them...because nothing has worked out too well so far from white mans interference. Some communities in Northern Australia have things working pretty well, but they are the minority. Alcohol and drugs are a huge issue.
@@jdxx59 Proud Choctaw and African here ! Yes,you are right ! I have several aboriginal friends in Australia and their ancestors experience is not too different from my own ! I long for the day when we can all get along and treat each other with love and respect!
My material grandfather is full Native American and from/living in Canada. I want to know about the people I look like but he decided he didn't want anything to do with his U.S family back in the early 80's. My mom is his youngest child and I'm assuming he left his Canadian family as well but then went back to them in 1982, I was born 14 years later. I think I'm also his eldest grandchild but in almost 24 years have never spoken to him.
CINDY619 are you not allowed to participate in ceremonies and traditional events living off the reservation? In Canada the bands allow us to participate in all events no mater where we live.
@@meganreviczky5997 not answering for anyone but myself here, but a lot of Nations "close ranks" and shun those who aren't living on the Rez, and living the daily struggle. I see it at Pow-Wow's where Nations tend to stick together and it's hard for an "outsider" to learn the language and culture. Remember, it was still illegal for a Cherokee to own land as far back as the 1970's, so closing ranks is a way of preserving their culture and keeping it to themselves. Preservation, you might say. Understanding it doesn't make proving Indian ancestry easy, for a reason.
I can’t believe people actually got angry that you wore glasses smh. The fact that you even have to explain that to a certain group of people blows my mind. Some people think they’re professional critics.
can y’all actually comment on the video and not the 10 second part at the beginning of her talking about her glasses. this video is an hour long and every single comment is about a 10 second part that has nothing to do with the story.
Why do you care? Lol this comments is equally ridiculous to whom ever complaining about the glare on her glasses. HER FOLLOWERS AND SUPPORTERS are reassuring her that its ok. Im sure she doesn't mind the comments regarding what she said, so why do you? UNREAL...you sure your not the one that complained about the glasses and the glare?
@@dianacherette29 uh yes i’m pretty sure I did not take the time out of my day to comment about something so stupid. I understand her supporters are trying to reassure her it’s fine, but not every commented need to be about it. And the almost 200 people who liked the comment agree with me She posted a video about a real person and she asked at the end what we thought it about it and to talk about it. I care more about the person she’s speaking about than reassuring her the glare on her glasses is fine. the thousands of people who commented it probably got the message across just fine
Everyone has a different story about this night...what a mess. Between that, the bloody clothes not being processed, the mistrust of the police...this is just really sad. I hope she gets justice 1 day. Edit: Also, id like to know what Carol & others were wearing. A jumpsuit, perhaps?
I LOVE your glasses!!! It’s crazy to me that it pissed people off because you were wearing them. I switch between glasses & contact lenses as well and definitely don’t wear glasses just for looks. Haters are always going to have something to hate on, unfortunately. You look beautiful and the show is fantastic! Plus, there’s not a bad glare at all. Do you girl! Love your videos!!!
I'm so upset to hear that people actually have the nerve to complain about someone wearing glasses! It's disgusting and disrespectful and just outrageous. Who do they think they are??? Pisses me off
@@DanelleHallan when I was 19, I slept in my contacts after a night out. Ended up with a scratched cornea in the emergency room. I've never slept in my contacts again!!!
Lara Lynch My personal conclusion was that Ken Collinson and Jack Little did it together. From the research I had done, they were most likely the last to see her so I figured it was most likely them. Of course I was 16 at the time and no one REALLY knows except for the murderer though.
Lara Lynch I also always figured they weren’t planning on doing it since they didn’t know each other well, but one of them may have assaulted her and the other witnessed it so they both stayed quiet to not get in trouble.
the plant that is trailing over your shoulder, the scindapsis, curls its leaves when it is thirsty. Also, i would love to hear if you could put together a video on the serial killer around Edmonton AB that has been active since the 90's that nobody will talk about. it gets brushed under the rug and nobody talks about it because the women being killed are indigenous, sex workers etc.
I can’t believe you’re covering this case!!! I listened to a podcast on CBC about this case years ago, and I haven’t stopped thinking about Alberta! Thank you thank you! 🙌🏼♥️
Danelle, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for respectfully and publicly spreading awareness for these people’s families and friends. I’ve been watching your channel for years now and I’ve learned a lot to keep me, my family, and future kids safer. I hope you hear “thank you” enough because we see how hard you work!😊❤️
Thank you for covering this case. There are so many MMIW in Canada, especially in BC and Alberta. It's great to see you covering the stories here to bring light to them and keep a spotlight on the problem. It'd be a great series to see you do.
As an Indigenous woman (Winnebago tribe of Nebraska and Kickapoo tribe in Kansas), truly thank you so much for covering MMIW and doing it so well. It really means a lot. Pinagigi, Kepiihcihi, thank you
Just read highway of tears by Jessica McDiarmid that talks about this case! Infuriating to read how these cases were handled!! You’ll get a better idea of why many families were so frustrated with the RCMP...
I'm Canadian and we talked about the super unethical experiments surrounding nutrition done in residential schools when I took an Ethics in Science class last year. They used non-FDA approved supplemental foods that were never sold to the public, and for that reason and others, there was no useful info gained on what the researchers claimed to be studying, so they basically tortured kids for no reason. It's absolute horrifying and such a dark chapter in our history.
I would love for you to look into cases surrounding Australian Indigenous people also, there’s also a lot of injustices there and I think you would be very passionate about it. Also your glasses are not even something to worry about, I love it honestly I noticed it at the start of the video how pretty they are because I also wear glasses. So please don’t feel bad for wearing them
Love this attention to MMIW....Pleeeeaseee cover Amber Tuccaro- her killer's voice is on tape. Yes it occurred in Canada but the guy has a Michigan accent
Is this the lady who got into an Uber(?), or, something like that.. And, she was talking to her brother on the phone I believe,, The driver took her some janky out of the way way, & she noticed, & called him on it, then, she was never heard from again? That one?
It’s so tricky with family members testifying and talking about other family members you don’t know how deep the loyalty goes 🤷♀️ we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors such as how close Alberta was to her family or for example how close jack is to them if jack was closer they could be protecting him (if he was involved) there are certainly lots of common denominators involving him. To me though it is suspicious that so many people in the same place on the same night can have so many different stories .. I understand there may be slight differences from people’s point of views but this seems excessive to me .. that what makes me think maybe people are keeping information back. Especially like you said with their pre conceived opinions of the police. It’s a tough one.. I just Hope Alberta gets justice ❤️
Thank you!!! You’re the first person to tell the MMIW stories with such sensitivity & so informative with indigenous issues regarding residential schools. You’re amazing! 💜💜
It's better than the usual never ending talking about what they're doing when they got the notification and Danelle's hair and makeup. 🤷 Don't get me wrong, she's gorgeous but I've always found them disrespectful.
My thoughts exactly. I thought these were about the cases and not about girl talk. She was right, nobody cares when it comes to mmiw cases. This proves it
I live in Kitimat it’s an hour away from Terrace we had a murder case that no one’s talking about the guy is still on the loose his name is Kevin vermette three people lost their lives and there’s one survivor and I would love to watch a in depth video about it me and my mom love your videos💖
The different stories is maddening, but I think Jack, Ken, and Carol are all involved somehow. It seems possible to me that she left the inside of the bar with Jack, but once in the parking lot they split and got separate rides to this party where the alcohol was dropped off- Jack goes in one car and her in another with 3 white dudes Jack befriended. Ken was never in the bar but came to the bar from his shift with 2 friends and he was the driver and never got out of the truck. They drove to this apartment party, stayed shortly, and went from the party to where Jacks wife Amanda was, leaving Carol at the apartment, then drove back to town, dropped off the other two white guys and picked up Carol and went to Jack’s house. Jack, Alberta, Carol, and Ken are all there but Ken went out to get alcohol or was just somewhere in the house where he wasn’t visible from where the nephew’s brother walked past. After they are at Jack’s house, something happens to Alberta; and Jack, Carol, and Ken are all involved/witnesses. When there’s some huge event with tons of people who are all drinking, like the last shift of the summer, it gets crazy/messy. I definitely had nights in college and have witnessed other people where right after finals the whole town is partying, people are jumping into cars of people they don’t even know because they heard some other party is better, splitting up friends groups and somehow drunkenly finding one another later, etc. In retrospect it terrifies me that this was so normal, and thankfully 98% of the time where I went to college it all turned out fine, but we definitely made ourselves vulnerable and anyone witnessing different snippets of the same event would’ve described it differently because we were all over the place and there was no rhyme or reason or logic to it.
Rosie is Jack’s wife, not Amanda. Amanda is Alberta’s cousin & Donna’s friend (Donna is Rosie’s sister). But I like that you put thought into this theory based off your own experiences!
It’s a small town... some one knows something or MORE than one person knows something. Maybe they’re scared to name the murderer or maybe they’re close to the murderer but someone knows who did it.
Danelle, you have a lovely voice, its very soothing, even when you discuss tragic circumstances, your voice is very calming. Your kids must have the best sleeps after mom reads them a book before bed. Im familiar with this case as it stands because of the Podcast, and Im from B.C., one thing about this territory, with the mix of terrains, its not that hard to imagine several ways to disappear a body. Always tragic when people disappear.
I'm a 27 indigenous woman from Alberta. When I was a teen. I was walking to the store. Summer evening. An older man in a van slowly followed me. And Parked at the end of the side walk watching me. So I ran the other direction. My cousin recently went missing and was confirmed murdered. I feel for my sisters who left this world scared. Their families with no justice or not knowing where their bodies are, to bring them home for a proper rest. I'm grateful to see RUclipsrs speaking on our behalf, to shine light on MMIW. Hai hai (thank you) for getting our stolen sister stories out. For others to truly understand MMIW. It's heart breaking 💔
As a Canadian that’s just now learning what happened to my ancestors from the government and police I admire you for talking about it!!!! I was not taught these things in school and my great grandparents were very hush hush with the newer generations…. I admire you for helping these families get the word out and refusing to let them be forgotten!!!!
Rachael Shannon, Danelle Hallen, Stephanie Harlowe, Savana Brymer, and That Chapter are all amazingly talented people that have a way of telling horrible stories in a very caring, respectful, passionate way. Thank you!
Thank you for covering these cases. As someone who lives in BC near where a messed up rez school was. Where they sterilized, and tested drugs and eugenics at it. Its absolutely disgusting. And something we NEED to discuss.
I heard this podcast a few months ago and I wasn’t sure how you were going to fit all the important information into an hour episode but you did it girl!! You never seize to amaze me! Xoxo
jen5487 yep i think Jack groomed her all her life and she was a scare of him, he was being so dominating on the night of the pub outing cos he was worried./ jealous someone else may get her. I think They did go back to Jacks for drinks, Alberta , ken and the other guys seen by Doug, may be not Claudia as like she said they all move out fast and left her. Things got nasty at the party as every one was intoxicated, all men and 1 female at a party doesn’t go down well, i think she was raped and murdered by this group of men unfortunately some of them were family. Many indigenous WOMEN are still under the thumb/rule of men and hence the mixed messages. However as indigenous woman become more empowered and strong the true story of what happened to Alberta will come out, which is now happening, but slowly. Rise UP ! The RCMP NEED TO STEP UP, it sounds like they are very lazy and have a know care factor.
I so appreciate that you raise awareness for Everyone.. I especially appreciate that you take time to talk about the disparities between different racial groups.. What matters is that we are all Human.. One life loss, is too many.. Stay well.. 🖤✊🏾🌹
Very impressed with Danelle’s presentation! The details of this case were so convoluted. She not only narrated the case, she made an extra effort to keep the listener’s confusion at a minimum.
Wtf people she needs glasses let her be. Danelle thank you for covering this. I listened to a podcast on this. As full blooded Native woman raised on the Rez I appreciate you covering our people.
I was just about to start cleaning, love your hour long videos while doing chores 😃😃 love your glasses btw and plants are my favorite! Love how you dont let those comments get to you.
As a woman in western Canada, thank you for covering this case. My great Grandmother was indigenous, and there are so many women who don’t get justice for being killed or abused.
Just to let you know, the podcast said that there was an arrest for the death of the older daughter, Pam, that was killed by a drunk driver. Thank you for this information, it was an amazing summary of the podcast.
I find it odd that her cousin saw Alberta on Saturday after talking about her being missing at their grandmothers celebration? Especially if Jack was at the celebration and acting weird? Where was Alberta during the celebration in that case? Also, it’s one thing to not tell police, but to help her back into the truck to leave with these suspicious people??? So many questions.
You did an amazing job with this case! I also listened to Connies podcast a year or two back and it was incredible as well! I love when you cover cases of MMIW. They do need our help to get justice.
Your glasses look great!! Thanks for covering this! I sent in a case suggestion not that long ago, it is a solved case, but it is SO interesting!! Daniel Morcombe was only 13 years old when he went missing from the Sunshine coast, in Queensland Australia on the 7th of December 2003. They have found his remains and a man has been charged and sentenced. BUT, the way the police caught him, is absolutely insane!
Love to hear about these stories that are Canadian. I like to learn new things that I never knew before even when they are crime related. Please continue 🇨🇦💕
Okay, I am a bit confused, but here's my theory. Friday morning and night: Jack had been molesting Alberto as a kid or teen or pimping her out. This could explain why he was hovering over her and seem to have dominance over her. Or, he could have presented as a "house mom" so to speak. Like a cool uncle who buys you drugs and alcohol, but has ulterior motives. I think that there was a secondary party going on that night, but that Jack and who ever wanted to keep it small. They probably only told certain ppl or denied it to others. I believe that this party was a set up, but Alberta didn't know and tried to invite other ppl. Perhaps she felt uncomfortable or knew something was off. I believe that the night of the party, Jack meant for Alberta to be raped by those group of men. Perhaps as a payment for a debt, ken could have been involved too. The ppl who saw the white truck/van could have actually been seeing the puke green truck. Perhaps some saw her get into that truck but thn later switched cars to the black car b4 leaving the bar. I do believe that Amanda, Ken, Jack, Alberta, and Carol + the 3 mystery men where at that 2nd party. I think Cathy and/or Amanda wasn't supposed to be there. When they(Jack, ken, and Carol) realized their plans were ruined, they brought her bk to Jack house. Or maybe Amanda/Cathy/Carol all left after putting Alberta in the truck and thought Jack was going to take her home. The rape could have happened after the 2nd party was over; hence, why Alberta was crying and still with Jack and Carol. Amanda probably didn't know what happened. Ken could have left to cement his alibi. Saturday morning and night: Perhaps the rape or assault happened Saturday morning and this is why Cathy saw Alberta driving off with those men. Someone could have been in the backseat with a gun. Or maybe she was motioning for Cathy to join her since they were supposed to meet up any way. If she was seen saturday evening drunk and with Jack, it was after Cathy had saw her. Perhaps they stopped at the house to pee and that's when Amanda saw her. It's odd that she was the only drunk person in a group of sober ppl, especially when most of them were men. Over all, I believe Jack, Ken, and Carol was involved in her death. Ken being a taxi driver gives him room to move about while still verifying his alibi. Who's to say he was actually working vs helping to hide a body. I think that Jack and Ken were pimping Alberto out for money or to pay off a debt. This is why the group of men were hanging around her and Jack. I think something went wrong which resulted in her death Sat evening. She was still alive while ppl were looking for her.
Yurrah Al-Hadi - wow you followed it all better than me. I just thought Jack did it and his wife made the phone call as Jack confessed to her. And that’s why they moved away. So many conflicting statements from people, I would have to listen to it all a few times to get a grip on it.
@@jdxx59 Yh, I had to pause and rewatch parts. I'm still confused but got the gist of what happened. That's honestly how I think it went down. In most cases where there's 1 drunk out of her mind girl surrounded by a group of sober ppl/men, the predator is in that group. Especially since ppl saw her at varying stages of sobriety. It's like Jack was intentionally getting her drunk. There's no way she could have been that drunk for 2 days straight. I think she blacked out and woke to them raping her or she decided she had enough and a fight broke out. Everyone placed her with Jack and their stories are all true, just parts of the larger picture. They were all seeing it from diff angles.
Iv agreed with you but you explain it so.much better than me. I especially agree with Alberta being groomed from an early age by Jack...and some of the family knew that I believe.

I wonder how much CCTV was around then? If the friend that saw her in the black car, I wonder why police didn’t look to see if there were any cameras pointed in m the area to check.
Yeah. I’ve had to fight with my friends to get out of strangers cars leaving the bar/club before. Some people do crazy shit when they’re drunk and will go off with anybody.

Me too. I love your videos. I listened to the podcast and still wanted your take on the case. I believe it was a black truck that Alberta got into because that's what most people recalled. Eye witness testimony is notoriously flawed. I think if Jack didn't do it, he knows what happened.

To not investigate bloody clothes and items when there has been a missing person locally is shameful.
I thought that was INSANE when I heard it. Especially in a small place where I’m sure there can’t be TOO much crime. You’d think finding that would send everybody wild.
Danelle Hallan just think, her DNA and blood might have been on those items, along with her murderers... and this could have possibly been solved.
@@Theyrecomingtogetyoubarbara this could've been solved within a month after she died.

Who’s really complaining about glasses? Get a grip people.
I wouldn't say it was "complaining" but rather pointing out something of which she may not have been aware. I admit that I pointed the glare out and asked if she'd consider not wearing them next time. She kindly replied that she needed to wear them and I said 'fair enough'.
@@kryer981 really? You actually asked her to consider not wearing glasses? How bitchy can a person be? Don't look at them if that really bothers you.

@Chell Belle no need to be complaining about the glare on someone's glasses either. That is so pathetic. Only the most spoiled rotten brats in life would bother to do such a thing.

Love how you dont let those comments get to you.

danielle you are so wonderfully intelligent. your ability to report on/explain this kind of information so well (and respectfully) is incredible!
As a woman in western Canada, thank you for covering this case. My great Grandmother was indigenous, and there are so many women who don’t get justice for being killed or abused.
Remember it is YOUR channel and they can go elsewhere. Don't even bring it up--don't feed the trolls.
Hate trolls
Just to let you know, the podcast said that there was an arrest for the death of the older daughter, Pam, that was killed by a drunk driver. Thank you for this information, it was an amazing summary of the podcast.
I find it odd that her cousin saw Alberta on Saturday after talking about her being missing at their grandmothers celebration? Especially if Jack was at the celebration and acting weird? Where was Alberta during the celebration in that case? Also, it’s one thing to not tell police, but to help her back into the truck to leave with these suspicious people??? So many questions.
excited to watch! Also you remind me SO much of dr bloom from the hannibal show lol
Damn I definitely see it. That's crazy.
You did an amazing job with this case! I also listened to Connies podcast a year or two back and it was incredible as well! I love when you cover cases of MMIW. They do need our help to get justice.
Hey Danelle! I love your videos you are very good at telling these peoples stories, keep it up! :)
I just read about this story in the highway of tears book! everyone if you are into this case, go read that book ASAP!!
Love to hear about these stories that are Canadian. I like to learn new things that I never knew before even when they are crime related. Please continue 🇨🇦💕
You’re doing a great job covering these cases! Ignore them.
The one true crime case that never leaves my mind. I’ve seen this video about a dozen times. Wish I could get you justice Alberta.
Saturday morning and night:
Perhaps the rape or assault happened Saturday morning and this is why Cathy saw Alberta driving off with those men.
Yurrah Al-Hadi this seems like a strong possibility in my opinion

Thank You Denelle for sharing stories of MMIW, I listen to lots of crime podcasts and so far you are the only one who covers MMIW stories, again thank you! P.S. love the glasses!
Omg Danelle apologizing for wearing her glasses & wanting to show us her plants broke my heart 😭 yall better act right 😡
GIRL U ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!❤️❤️ inside and out!! Thank you for caring so much about these cases and bringing awareness on them. We love you❤️😊❤️😊
AND it's impressive how you've memorized all this info and not going off of notes from what I can tell
She does look down, I'm sure she's checking notes. But you can tell she is very familiar with every case she does.
@@tracybeeeee yeah its pretty impressive specially with the time of her videos. Most of the others are looking off screen 80 percent of the time lol. But I'd probably be the same way, no way could I memorize such detail the way she does!
Danelle! You are seriously one of the best people, thank you so much for covering so many cases involving indigenous women, they so often are forgotten and it's outrageous. Thank you for talking about this issue
People should be more concerned on the information that you giving and less on your glasses, plants etc..,,
Amen!
Exactly!
Amen
What in the world, your glasses?! We love them. Keep wearing them please. Has nothing to do with how amazing your work is. 💛
I listen to this more like a podcast so I never notice what you wear.
Also that segue into the sponsor ad, that was smooth. I'm honestly impressed.
An hour long video & on my birthday!! I’m in heaven!!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday 🥳🎂🎈🎉
Thank you for giving these people a voice.
Sweet, coffee and my favorite channel!
Thank you so much for also raising awareness for MMIW cases! This is actually so important and a lot of people tend to forget about this 💔
I'd also love see "other"/not true crime related videos from you 😊 a plant tour might help me to stop my infamous career as a plant serial killer 😅😂
I know people say “oh they would never do that!” but I know damn well when I’m sloppy drunk I do shit I wouldn’t normally do. I wander and talk to random people and try to make new friends, etc etc. obviously I’m no way in shape or form blaming her, I’m just curious how drunk she was and how many people were keeping an eye on her? I wonder how much CCTV was around then? If the friend that saw her in the black car, I wonder why police didn’t look to see if there were any cameras pointed in m the area to check.
Yeah. I’ve had to fight with my friends to get out of strangers cars leaving the bar/club before. Some people do crazy shit when they’re drunk and will go off with anybody.
I'm in British Columbia. Thanks for reporting on this
Yess!!! Never clicked on an alert so fast. This is my favorite time of the week 💜💜💜
The glare makes your eyes sparkle!! Having said that!! I appreciate your passion about what was done to these families and children and their culture and who they were , just wipped away!!
