  • The town of Donaghadee at the top of the Ards Peninsula in County Down is one of the most important settlements in Ulster-Scots history.
Join Graham Little on this 2.5 - 3 mile walk on public path as he explores the harbour where many Scottish settlers landed in the early 17th century, and takes in other important historic sites. From the coastal path, keep your eyes peeled for the various birds including ‘mussel pickers‘ and ‘wully dookers‘ who can often be spotted diving into the water in search of fish.
Please stay at home and stay safe for the time-being, but be inspired to take some, or all, of these walks when government guidelines allow.
