The patient visited to continue retreatment on the upper right first molar. Diagnosis is as follows:
Dx)
Pulpal: Previously treated
Apical: Symptomatic apical periodontitis
Since the patient reported that her symptoms seemed to have improved, I proceeded with canal filling and core restoration. The process included: reconfirming the canal length, applying PUI with Endosonic Blue 2, soaking in 6% NaOCl for 20 minutes, drying the canals, filling with bioceramic sealer, bonding, and resin core.
The patient mentioned that she would monitor her symptoms and proceed with crown treatment at her husband’s clinic. I recommended that she complete the final crown bonding as soon as possible due to the cracked tooth.
