I imagine that this character used to be in our position and came to the moonlight manor so some things that she’s telling us are things she experienced like the phone ringing. At some point she turned into one of the monsters/creatures and now she has this job. Every once in a while a bit of past humanity and memories peek through her new identity and she tries to warn people but it’s gone almost as soon as it comes
