Same here!So far it's working very well. I've flown since I was little but developed a phobia of flying the last few years. Hoping (praying) I'm beginning to come out of it seeing as though my girlfriend and I are going to Kefalonia in July. :-)
Andrea The Giant well from my experience, im 13 and ive flown about 22 times my entire life. Flying is honestly so safe, the takeoff is fun and you forget about any worries at cruising. If youre worried about any funny feelings (like a rollercoaster drop), you dont feel anything, just a slight bump after take off. If you ever wanna talk just tell me :)
OMG I love the little "Weather System" in the Mouth of the Jet Intake as you take off!!!!! I wonder what causes that? You'd think the air was being sucked in so fast it wouldn't have a chance to do something like that!
AVIATION TRIP REPORTS I had a flight with Thomas Cook last month ( Tenerife south to Bristol ) and nobody clapped because we didn’t know if we landed an the pilot had to come on the pa and say “just to let you know we have indeed landed and thank you for choosing Thomas Cook Airlines we hope you had a pleasant flight”
TS GAMER No just vapour. Its the vast intake of air sucks the moisture out of it and makes it visible in the form of like clouds which you can see. Usually only get it in humid places, or damp places where there is lots of moisture in the air.
+rachaelmatt How did you find your flight in terms of legroom and service? Would you prefer thomas cook over british airways? Really nice vidieo by the way :)
This sound is made because the fan blades spin faster than the speed of sound. This "buzzsaw" sound can ONLY be heard in front of the engine. You most likely sat in the back on the plane, where you can only hear the jet stream. In this case, the engines are CFM56 which make a more deeper sound because they have different nacelles. There is another engine option, the IAE V2500, which makes a more high pitched sound. This sound is completely normal for all Airbus, Boeing, and other aircraft.

knowledge is power. fear is beatable
+Andy Vincent True. That being said, have you eased your fear since watching this or do you have any suggestions of how it can be done?

Andrea The Giant its all in the mind it's not about the flying it's the fault in your head
Great flight MATT enjoyed seeing the mountains, THANK YOU
Outstanding reportage. Thanks for a terrific video!
I love that engine roar
That takeoff was amazing, great catch! :)

@@hikari-akitohikouki5158 so what causes it when you see it on the leading edge of the wings when rotating?
@@hikari-akitohikouki5158 its a pressure difference that causes it...
@@mrelano65 both of you.. same answer 👍
Nice flight, Sir. :-)
Gatwick looks huge. It must have been expanded since I last flew from/to there, many years ago. Super video, thank you.
Fantastic video. Well done.
Me thinks the pilot forgot to stow the speed brakes hahaha nice video!
Let's cut to the quick; the video starts at: 11:00

I love watching your videos

Great video! That landing looked hard :-)
Fsxflyer That's because it's safer when it's really hot!
And it's a really short runway
Yeah
+Nordic Aviation ya gotta break like da clappers

Why did he keep the spoilers armed after landing, even when deplaning?
Hi RachaelMatt. I might be making a flight video in the next few weeks. I'm just wondering if you hold your camera or what do you do?
Ironic that he took-off from the UK in blue sky and sunshine and landed at Kefalonia when it was grey and cloudy
James Martin awful weather when in the UK but when you go on holiday it’s beautiful and your holiday destination has a storm😂
G-TCDA, G-TCDB, G-NIKO, G-DHJH, G-TCVA, G-TCVB, G-TCVC, G-TCVD are all getting repainted to the new yellow and grey livery winter 2018.
Wow, The landing was fairly short (almost on the runway threashold) considering when the touchdown markings are!!
yes i agree probably because it wasnt a very long runway to land on
Hmmm, after landing checklist??
what app do you use for the watermark
Did you get TVs
bro, this sound, *Smack Smack*
gourgous flight ty for s haring
The pilot forgot to retract the spoilers after landing 😂🤣😂
I’ve heard of airlines doing this before. On Airbus aircraft if the temperature is hot. I think it was intentional
kinda reminds of Skiathos
whats that island at 28:25 ?
Lewisthevillan1 I think is Svetac in Croatia.
ok thanks
Bit of a bump landing.
Hard landing..?
Well personally i think TUI are better at landings

@@NotVanHalen9090 That makes no sense, the airline has nothing to do with landings, the ability of the pilot does.

Now im in kefalonia
Those Rolls-Royce engines make a horrible noise; it sounds like it's grinding itself to bits!
These are not rolls royce.
@@TrainPlaneHub
Then which manufacturer of engines is the "Airbus A321-211" equipped with? And don't do a cowardly disappearing act!

When he said cabin crew prepare for departure sounds like Yorkshire accent
FO is Yarkshire 😀
Why is it not 720p
It's still rendering just wait.
the plane shouldnt sound like that on take off ive been on An A321 last year (2015) And it didnt make so much noise like that!!
+Gear Grinder I've been on an A321 many times. Believe me that engine type a CFM, makes that noise. Completely normal.
