    Excellent tutorial. I do like the new curvature tool it makes drawing paths so much simpler. The technique I prefer is to first approximate the shape using straight lines either with the curvature tool holding alt down or the pen tool. The shape can then be easily completed using the curvature too.

    Excellent tutorial as usual Jesus! Do you have another training video on how to use the Pen tool to cut out an object with sharp edges (a car for example) from its background?

    What a clever idea to put the sketch on top of the Layer Stack in Multiply mode -- It would have taken me 26 years practicing Ps to think of that by myself! Question: Do you think that it might make more sense to produce this vector image in AI? Or is there an advantage to doing it in Ps?

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  6 лет назад +1

      Ai would always be better for creating Vectors. The only advantage is for people who are NOT Ai users and they know a bit of Photoshop. It would take people too long to learn a new tool to make a simple task like this.

    Jesus thank you for so much information! I am NEW to photoshop(as in 1 week NEW) When I use the curvature pen tool it does not have the options at the top for color and width. Is that a setting I am missing? Thank you again!

    Can I ask what size dual monitors you use a photoshop professional? I have two 27 inch but have been eyeing the 36 inch monitors but was wondering if too large is not worth it?

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  6 лет назад

      I have two 26. At one point I had the two 26 with a 32 as well and that was great. I thought it would be too large, but I used it mainly to hold my final image/video and used the other two for panels, internet browser, and watching youtube videos as I worked! 😂

    After watching this ILLLUSTRATION tutorial I thought this: "Well, Vector Illustrating, People retouching and Environment compositing"... What about preparing PRODUCT (OBJECTS) IMAGES for online catalogs? I have this 2 questions:
    Question 1: ¿How can I match a blueish background color of many product images? But:
    A). Without affecting the product subject
    B). Without having to mask the subject of all my images (time consuming)?
    Question 2: ¿How can I remove or at least fade blue background color casts on metal, and black camera metal reflections?
    Thanks for sharing your vast graphic design knowledge.

    Hi.
    I lost you after you selected the pen tool.
    How did you make a new layer for the scarf?
    When I made a new layer, I could draw with the pen tool, but I just got a blue line, no black line, no white fill.
    What am I doing wrong?

    And how di i save this as a vektor now? This is the most importand thing for me

  • @vikkifraser2452
    @vikkifraser2452 6 лет назад

    What did you save the file as, to have the most flexible use of the illustration later? Example, you want to make this an actual card to send to the printer. PDF?

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  6 лет назад

      I would keep it as a PSD. Then depending on output, change it to something else.
      The printer may ask for specifics on file types when you send it in. They will tell you what you need, and change it to that once you know.

    Might be a dumb question but all the lines are drawn with the brush tool so everything looks pixelated. How do I fix this so they are solid lines like in the video?
