I keep coming back to the L-39 for some reason. It’s one of my favourite DCS aircraft at the moment. Much like the Mig 15bis it is just an enjoyable aircraft to fly. With my current rig (Valve Index, i5, RTX 2070) it looks very good in VR.
Jake Wallace His first stream had the F-5 in the module list on the bottom of the screen, indicating that something special may be going on with the F-5.
Looks like the people who made this did a great job. I would pre-purchase it right now except I cant use my bonus dollars. It almost feels like the 'jet trainer and light attack aircraft' category is starting to get overcrowded with the Hawk and the C-101. I can't wait for more heavy attack aircraft like the F-18 and F-14.
Thanks for the tutorial....the model and textures look phenomenal....and I love the fidelity and depth of systems. Can't wait for the finished product! By the way....what AFB did you depart from?
Thanks Matt! I have a question though... When we have 2 people in the aircraft, how will stick priority work? Will the IP be able to override the control inputs at any time or some other system? Thanks again :)

Taxiing this plane is a nightmare, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. For some reason while using differential braking to turn, the plane at times just gets "stuck" into a turn even after I remove my foot off the pedal, like it just wants to go in circles forever, which doesn't make sense because I'm not applying any controls, neither brake nor pedal (rudder), so not sure why it just wants to keep on turning by itself. And applying reverse differential braking to force it out of a turn doesn't seem to work until I push that damn throttle to full and get it to accelerate..and off the taxi way and onto the grass..and only then does it go back to taxiing straight jeez!
Great video! Wonderful modeling. However, 180Kts for rotation is way high. That aircraft stalls at about 95kits. I think you might have meant 180 kilometers per hour?
While this is fascinating, I'll be starting these AC from the simplified mode where I just use a couple of keys. Since I'm not actually flying an L-39 in reality (wish I had the time to be that detailed), but this is impressive. I like the F-5E tease also.
