They're very versatile, each member has something to bring to the table. They're incredibly INCREDIBLY talented. If you like their title tracks, their B-sides is where the gold mine is. Their B-sides are GOLD. Their discography is GOLD. They have the best rapline, they have the most flavorful group of vocalists like you said their voices are unique and when they sing together it's heaven, they have an INSANELY GOOD main vocal, they are incredibly good dancers, (ALL OF THEM) no one falls behind, and they have an amazing producer line (Jooheon, I.M., and Hyungwon) If you think Jooheon is crazy on video, wait till you see him in real life, HIS CHARISMA IS CRAZY live. As some others have suggested, as you really took a liking to Kihyun's rock-stylings in 'Gambler' you should check out his cover of 'Believer' by Imagine Dragons. And obvs his, (and the other members') solo works. His vocals are no joke, one of the best in Kpop...but off stage he's also the King of cringe, which is one of the many reasons we all love him so dearly. Kiss or Death is the third installment in the Time Traveler arc. It starts with Dramarama, but the prequel MV is Find You (grab tissues). There other MVs loosely tied to the storyline along with a short film. Great storyline. Monsta X has vast content, and are amazing live. Kihyun does have a voice for rock, and it shines in his solo work. Totally recommend Voyager. Looking forward to your MX journey!
admittedly, i started to fall out of monsta x for a bit after "follow" era and became a very casual listener. i hadn't heard rush hour nor kiss or death before, so this was a pleasant surprise to watch and realize how much i missed! i will say, the moment i saw the ending of kiss or death and saw that dang pocket watch, that was whiplash in the best way possible - i completely forgot there was a storyline that monsta x had. safe to say that i'm sucked back in again :] (for as long as the autism will let me)

I find it funny to hear you talk about Joohoney's charisma because he has created many amazing lines in Monsta songs, but the first one was in the debut video (Trespass) with "Excuse my charisma", so please excuse him.😁 About watching a guide let me recommend that you look for one with a recent date and do not decide only for the views because probably these are old and of course outdated in terms of the boys' careers and info. So to understand kiss or death. You need to get back to the beginning which is dramarama, the connect music film for destroyer, and then find you. I feel like I’m missing one more. But for me those are the main videos to understand kiss or death. There is not a dance practice for kiss or death. But they did finally perform it live at the very last concert they did. They performed all of these you reacted to. So we finally got choreo for kiss or death as a whole :) I can’t wait to see you get into there personalities. IM is the cat of the group. And yes he’s very sassy and sneaky lol he’s my ult wrecker. Hyungwon is my ult bias. Nobody can pass him at all. I saw them live in 2019 when it was the seven of them I cherish that to. And I was upfront and man all of there visuals specially IM and hyungwon in person I can’t even express how amazing it is. It’s nothing like watching them on videos. While I wouldn't consider them underrated necessarily they definitely never reached the level of fame/acknowledgement they deserve. They are just as amazing live too! I flew to NYC to see them in concert (i'm Canadian) and it was worth single penny!

Wow I’m really astonished from your reaction because I think you added some insight as to why I’ve always found Monsta X so incredibly unique which is because of the contrast of their voices. They have EXTREMELY distinct voices and charisma which bring out such a unique sound for them which I really do appreciate because it’s hard to stand out in the Kpop music industry imo. You get so much more out of a group when each member is distinctive and can flourish which is also why they are one of my absolute favorite artists of all time such an amazing fun group.

'Gambler' and 'Rush hour' are my favorite title tracks, from my favorite albums and they're also both written and composed by JooHoney 😉😊 Yeah, JooHoney and I.M are no joke, for real! Of all the male groups I know and listen to, these two are probably the most diverse talentwise and fiery of them all, and I always take special notice and have a weakness for the rappers, so it say something - If you what a real taste of them, I recommend their 'sambakja' performance 😉 Also, both of them have solo releases, where theyre basically just showing off their crazy diverse musical talent - Fave JooHoney solos; 'Hype energy', 'Evolution' and 'Smoky'. 'Smoky' especially, is so emotional and beautiful 🥹 JooHeon is one of my, overall favorite k-artists, (along with ATEEZ HongJoong), beacause he is just so overall crazy talented musically and I love his energy and sass 😅😊 Fave I.M solos; 'God damn' and 'Overdrive'. I.M has, hands down, one of the most sexy voices in the kpop industry, you'll discover this when you hear his solos... 😉 Him and Yongguk from B.A.P... I swear... 🥵 Speaking of Monsta X solos, main vocal KiHyun have released solos as well, if you want more of his beautiful voice (fave from Kihyun solo; 'Voyager', 'Rain' and 'Youth') 😉 Aand then we have the subunit of Shownu and HyungWon, with their mini album from last year and titletrack 'Love me a little'. 😊 Minhyuk is actually the only one, so far, that doesn't have sing activities outside Monsta X, but I think he is an MC... its either him or Kihyun 😜 Also, they've made several OST for kdramas, so if you watch a lot of kdramas and recognize some of their voices, that may be why 😉

And yes Joohoney’s energy is amazing, hence why I suggested Sambakja. Jooheon is also in the top 10 for Music Credits of Kpop idols. Also this music video was made for the old Universe app which is no longer active. And for fun reference, Seventeen are big Monbebes and look up to Monsta X. Now, about the group as a whole... 😅 I've been a kpop multistanner for 3 years (mainly male groups) and I've casually listened to MONSTA X for most of this time, but only got into them for real, a few months ago (like you, I already stan several groups 😅) I've gotta admit though, I'm now a full fledged MONBEBE, cause I've fallen so hard for them, they've become one of my top 3 fave groups, alongside SUPER JUNIOR and ATEEZ 🥰 (My top 3 is basically fave 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen and each group is basically the eptitome sound/style of their generation 😅). What MONSTA X has in common with SuJu and ATEEZ, and one of the reasons they're a fave, is the personalities and dynamics of the members. I have a weakness for chaotic groups, with honest/real and savage/sassy members. MONSTA X has some of the most savage members, even towards us fans. MONSTA X and MONBEBE has a bit of a love/hate relationship. We don't really engage in fanwars, because we're too busy teasing and bickering with our men 🤭😅 MONSTA X was put together through the survival show 'NO.MERCY' and they were all in their early 20's when they debuted (except I.M, who was 19). Their age, plus the fact of what they had to go through, emotionally, in the show, made them very mature and with a mind of their own, as artists. You can easily sense this is both their songs, interviews and reality shows. You'll catch them being like; 'Nope' and brutally direct both towards fans, interviewers and Starship staff. I love that about them, setting boundaries for themselves and not just letting themselves being pushed around 😊 Now, on to MONSTA X's music because oh boy, this is a whole chapter of it's own. You wont find music, or should I say LYRICS, like MONSTA X's anywhere else in the kpop industry. Due to the culture, kpop lyrics are often very clean and innocent. If they're about intimacy and love making, them it's usually limited and wrapped up in a handful of metaphors. But, for some reason, MONSTA X is one of the only groups, who's VERY obviously singing about intimacy in well... most of their songs (🤭the amount of heavy breathing, moaning and bed creaking sounds (like in 'LOVE') in their songs is...🤫🤭), but hasn't been restricted, in any way. They are quite admired and looked up to, by the younger generation in the industry, so maybe that's why, but yeah, their music/lyrics is very unique and unlike the industry. Another notable thing about MONSTA X, which makes them stand out from every other group, is the fact that they've released, nothing less than TWO full english albums. While a lot of groups/artists, tend to loose a little of their sound and that unique kpop charm, when doing english songs, MONSTA X don't. While there IS a difference (their english tracks being more pop), you can still feel and hear, that the english tracks are MONSTA X - you still hear their vibe and musical DNA 😊 MONSTA X do have somewhat of a storyline, however it's mostly in their first releases, although, for some reason, the clock and time warping seems to pop up every now and then... I haven't desciphered completely yet... I am looking forward to follow you on your continued journey of discovering the kpop casanovas. And just a little warning in advance... Brace yourself for I.M, because some of his lines... 🫢🫣🤫 It's always I.M and then JooHoney 😅

I used to confuse Minhyuk and Kihyun too when I knew them. Tip: Kihyun is the one you keep saying is beautiful, orange hair guy in Rush Hour, main vocal and Minhyuk is the blonde guy in Love Killa and dark blonde in Kiss or Death, the guy who is in the elevator at the beginning of Gambler

Kiss or Death is the third installment in the Time Traveler arc. It starts with Dramarama, but the prequel MV is Find You (grab tissues). There other MVs loosely tied to the storyline along with a short film. Great storyline. Monsta X has vast content, and are amazing live. Kihyun does have a voice for rock, and it shines in his solo work. Totally recommend Voyager. Looking forward to your MX journey!
admittedly, i started to fall out of monsta x for a bit after "follow" era and became a very casual listener. i hadn't heard rush hour nor kiss or death before, so this was a pleasant surprise to watch and realize how much i missed! i will say, the moment i saw the ending of kiss or death and saw that dang pocket watch, that was whiplash in the best way possible - i completely forgot there was a storyline that monsta x had. safe to say that i'm sucked back in again :] (for as long as the autism will let me)

So to understand kiss or death. You need to get back to the beginning which is dramarama, the connect music film for destroyer, and then find you. I feel like I’m missing one more. But for me those are the main videos to understand kiss or death. There is not a dance practice for kiss or death. But they did finally perform it live at the very last concert they did. They performed all of these you reacted to. So we finally got choreo for kiss or death as a whole :) I can’t wait to see you get into there personalities. IM is the cat of the group. And yes he’s very sassy and sneaky lol he’s my ult wrecker. Hyungwon is my ult bias. Nobody can pass him at all. I saw them live in 2019 when it was the seven of them I cherish that to. And I was upfront and man all of there visuals specially IM and hyungwon in person I can’t even express how amazing it is. It’s nothing like watching them on videos. You feel like your going to have a stroke watching there videos. Well imagine how you would feel seeing them live 😂oh also hyungwon and kihyun are our Tom and Jerry of the group. And it’s hilarious.

I'm so here for your Monsta X Journey. They are such an amazing group. While I wouldn't consider them underrated necessarily they definitely never reached the level of fame/acknowledgement they deserve. They are just as amazing live too! I flew to NYC to see them in concert (i'm Canadian) and it was worth single penny!
Super excited for your Monsta x journey. Mx and svt are close in genera, l not just jeonghan and Hyungwon. They debuted around the same time so they became close like that and still hang out. I.M also said many times that Wonwoo is one of/ is his closest friend

Wow I’m really astonished from your reaction because I think you added some insight as to why I’ve always found Monsta X so incredibly unique which is because of the contrast of their voices. They have EXTREMELY distinct voices and charisma which bring out such a unique sound for them which I really do appreciate because it’s hard to stand out in the Kpop music industry imo. You get so much more out of a group when each member is distinctive and can flourish which is also why they are one of my absolute favorite artists of all time such an amazing fun group.

Yeah, JooHoney and I.M are no joke, for real! Of all the male groups I know and listen to, these two are probably the most diverse talentwise and fiery of them all, and I always take special notice and have a weakness for the rappers, so it say something - If you what a real taste of them, I recommend their 'sambakja' performance 😉 Also, both of them have solo releases, where theyre basically just showing off their crazy diverse musical talent - Fave JooHoney solos; 'Hype energy', 'Evolution' and 'Smoky'. 'Smoky' especially, is so emotional and beautiful 🥹
JooHeon is one of my, overall favorite k-artists, (along with ATEEZ HongJoong), beacause he is just so overall crazy talented musically and I love his energy and sass 😅😊
Fave I.M solos; 'God damn' and 'Overdrive'. I.M has, hands down, one of the most sexy voices in the kpop industry, you'll discover this when you hear his solos... 😉 Him and Yongguk from B.A.P... I swear... 🥵
Speaking of Monsta X solos, main vocal KiHyun have released solos as well, if you want more of his beautiful voice (fave from Kihyun solo; 'Voyager', 'Rain' and 'Youth') 😉 Aand then we have the subunit of Shownu and HyungWon, with their mini album from last year and titletrack 'Love me a little'. 😊 Minhyuk is actually the only one, so far, that doesn't have sing activities outside Monsta X, but I think he is an MC... its either him or Kihyun 😜 Also, they've made several OST for kdramas, so if you watch a lot of kdramas and recognize some of their voices, that may be why 😉

Girl you are never ready for Monsta X!! That is there brand! As well as choosing a bias, this is one of the hardest groups to pick just one. Most have multiple. And yes Joohoney’s energy is amazing, hence why I suggested Sambakja. Jooheon is also in the top 10 for Music Credits of Kpop idols.

Now, about the group as a whole... 😅 I've been a kpop multistanner for 3 years (mainly male groups) and I've casually listened to MONSTA X for most of this time, but only got into them for real, a few months ago (like you, I already stan several groups 😅) I've gotta admit though, I'm now a full fledged MONBEBE, cause I've fallen so hard for them, they've become one of my top 3 fave groups, alongside SUPER JUNIOR and ATEEZ 🥰 (My top 3 is basically fave 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen and each group is basically the eptitome sound/style of their generation 😅). What MONSTA X has in common with SuJu and ATEEZ, and one of the reasons they're a fave, is the personalities and dynamics of the members. I have a weakness for chaotic groups, with honest/real and savage/sassy members. MONSTA X has some of the most savage members, even towards us fans.
MONSTA X and MONBEBE has a bit of a love/hate relationship. We don't really engage in fanwars, because we're too busy teasing and bickering with our men 🤭😅
MONSTA X was put together through the survival show 'NO.MERCY' and they were all in their early 20's when they debuted (except I.M, who was 19). Their age, plus the fact of what they had to go through, emotionally, in the show, made them very mature and with a mind of their own, as artists. You can easily sense this is both their songs, interviews and reality shows. You'll catch them being like; 'Nope' and brutally direct both towards fans, interviewers and Starship staff. I love that about them, setting boundaries for themselves and not just letting themselves being pushed around 😊
Now, on to MONSTA X's music because oh boy, this is a whole chapter of it's own. You wont find music, or should I say LYRICS, like MONSTA X's anywhere else in the kpop industry. Due to the culture, kpop lyrics are often very clean and innocent. If they're about intimacy and love making, them it's usually limited and wrapped up in a handful of metaphors. But, for some reason, MONSTA X is one of the only groups, who's VERY obviously singing about intimacy in well... most of their songs (🤭the amount of heavy breathing, moaning and bed creaking sounds (like in 'LOVE') in their songs is...🤫🤭), but hasn't been restricted, in any way. They are quite admired and looked up to, by the younger generation in the industry, so maybe that's why, but yeah, their music/lyrics is very unique and unlike the industry.
Another notable thing about MONSTA X, which makes them stand out from every other group, is the fact that they've released, nothing less than TWO full english albums. While a lot of groups/artists, tend to loose a little of their sound and that unique kpop charm, when doing english songs, MONSTA X don't. While there IS a difference (their english tracks being more pop), you can still feel and hear, that the english tracks are MONSTA X - you still hear their vibe and musical DNA 😊
MONSTA X do have somewhat of a storyline, however it's mostly in their first releases, although, for some reason, the clock and time warping seems to pop up every now and then... I haven't desciphered completely yet...
I am looking forward to follow you on your continued journey of discovering the kpop casanovas. And just a little warning in advance... Brace yourself for I.M, because some of his lines... 🫢🫣🤫 It's always I.M and then JooHoney 😅

IM is my bias but Kiki is definitely my wrecker though saying that I love them all to bits been in to kpop since 2010 so many groups I’ve liked but only two I can say I have never disliked a track .
