A year later and Hwang has been absolutely killing it, I truly hope he's able to continue how he's doing, if he does, no doubt he'll become a Wolves legend. Easily one of my favorite Wolves players ever already. love watching him, can't wait to see him continue!
As someone who can speak both English and Korean to a decent level, the translation/subtitles were extremely well done. It's extremely difficult to show the tone/politeness that Son and Hwang is showing to Park (due to age, experience and other factors) in the subtitles but other than that, it is done very well. Credits to Wolves or whoever contributed to the subtitles.
I think mediocre is a better term. Obviously, the subtitles weren’t bad. They had all the words correctly translated, but things like 형 should never be translated to brothers. I understand that much of the problem lies with Korean culture and some phrases/words being impossivle to translate without the loss of nuance. However, I believe there is room for improvement. Definitely one of the better translated videos though.
@@gnsgml11 But when would you use the phrase “brothers” in the english language. That’s the part that bothers me when I see Korean translated to English.
@@jaewoopark8478 Bro is short for brother you know. Im sure the translator used brother instead of bro as respect. But I do understand what you are saying and I agree with you. three good and humble human beings. Hwang just carry on doing what you are doing and score for Wolves(especially against the Villa) and you will become a legend. Love and peace to you all. Wolves ay we.
I'm officially in tears. I never knew such great video existed. I was there during Ji's heyday with united, he's literally my fave player of the team! seeing him passing the 'throne' of valuable experience on sonny and now with hee chan as well is so awesome. And the way they have this thoughtful and meaningful convo is just everything. I'm not even korean, yet I'm so proud of them! They all have come so far :) Ps : Sonny just prove once again what amazin person he is when he told about how he always particularly checking on heechan in every game day each week. 😭
jisung was a legend and so is sonny...i can definitely feel hwang becoming one to in future he is young and has got skills more matches and polishing is definitely taking him above with that talent
For those who are instersted in Korean and are not able to catch how they communicate, Son and Hwang speak very formal Korean whilst Park speaks informal one. Do you know why? Park is much older than the others. Jisung is leading this conversation. He asks some questions and Son and Hwang answer. By the way, congratulation Wolves and Hwang for complete transfer. Wish him to score as many as Son scores.
@@Peter-eu7wp But Son is talking much more freely than Hwang, and it is because Son is already a captin of Korea, and as a world-class player, he have met Park before. They look more friendly. Hwang looks uncomfortable than Son because he is much younger and his level is not as much than Son and Park is. But I hope Hwang become greater player as Son :)
Thank you to Wolves, Spurs, and the Premier League for all the three players who posted their stories in Korea and for planning this content, and please continue to support Son and Huang in the future.
koreans slowly dominating the world, from sports, education until music not a korean but idk i feel so proud since imma fans of both football and korean music for a long time . hope hee chan can be a korean legend like the other two
Really great personality from all three. As a United fan for almost 16 years Park was a part of United from the first match ive watched and i can say that im really proud of Park as an Asian. Like fr, he made all of us proud coz an Asian player playing in the highest stage was unheard of at the time and the fact that he wasn't just there as a marketing tactics people thought he was at the time, its safe to say he shut all of it down without having to explain anything. Park, as a legend that he is may never have the same craze as Son simply coz the difference in their roles and position. If only players in United now have just half of Park's heart, determination for the team, we'd be in a much better place. You could see the difference in united players a decade ago versus now. A decade ago players respect the logo on the top left corner of the shirt and it could be seen in their facial expression and the way they carried themselves both on and of the pitch. Seeing Rashford, Martial and other players jog like they don't care when we were 2-0 down at home with 15 minutes to go pisses me off.
Oh man, this video hit me deep. Ji is my all time favourite player; I remember first watching him at the 2002 World Cup, nutmegging Figo and scoring a screamer against AC Milan for PSV in the UCL live, and then his incredible career with United. His selflessness, character and energy resonated with me in a way I've not felt with any other footballer. Naturally took a big interest in Korean players after that, and followed Son's progression from Hamburg, and then Hwang more recently, that time he put Van Dijk on the deck! Thank you so much for making this.
If you're a big Ji fan, just in case you don't know- he's a massively nice guy and very charismatic in the typical humble Korean way, but very at ease and confident in all situations and pretty hilarious. The type of guy where even if he weren't famous, he'd be popular in any room. Growing up in the UK but family being ethnic Korean I don't think most Brits really got that side of him cos he isn't the best English speaker so he comes across as shy, but just know he's the type of leader you'd enjoy following. Not too dissimilar in personality to Sonny really. Sonny gets all the plaudits over here cos he speaks English more naturally so his personality comes across better, but Ji is very similar and actually probably more British with his dry humour.
As a south korean raised in the UK and having to deal with plenty of racism back when people hadn't a clue where or what South Korea was, I have to say, Ji Sung Park was an absolute hero. Hence I was a united fan since the age of seven. Now Son and Hwang are doing phenomenal jobs to represent my country as Park did and it's so heartwarming to see them lot chat in my language. Thanks Wolves 👏
What an amazing video. This is how football should be: respectful of all individuals and clubs involved. When clubs and players insult each other, the beautiful game has gone astray. Congratulations on the initiative!
This is the best. The unbiased edit, and just a wholesome talk among the three. They really have a lot of affection towards each other and genuinely supports one another. They included the best clips for Son Heungmin and Park Jisung in their respective clubs, too. It seems like Hwang Heechan is in a good club if they can produce this kind of content. We learn more about them and know how much support they give each other, and their country too. Respect to that.
