It's finally happening - I'm heading back to South Africa, and the excitement is beyond words! After a long 12 months away from my family and friends, I'm over the moon at the thought of reuniting with them. The anticipation is palpable, and my heart is filled with joy.
On my journey to South Africa, I flew with Etihad Airways. While the food wasn't quite up to par, the comfort of the plane made up for it. Abu Dhabi Airport, where I had a layover, was a sight to behold - beautifully designed and oh-so-impressive. And let's not forget the bliss of freshening up with my skincare routine and discovering the showers at the airport - pure travel luxury!
Heading home is the highlight of my 2024, and I can't wait to share this special moment with all of you.

I prefer Emirates. But you should choose based on luggage allowance and layover hours.
