I like to throw pads at opponents. They never expect it, and it makes them an easy target. It's also helpful if you're on the train, and someone else gets on. You can launch them off, and if you're lucky they won't catch it again.
Yes! I contested someone at that house with the little tower by the yacht. I landed on the tower which had a duo on it, threw the pad, and ended up with a quick two piece by doing this!

I don't know if it's the same on PS4, but on XBOX, if you're holding any other weapon and you press a multiple times, you can be holding a weapon and it'll still launch you forward.

In my opinion, You're just making yourself a floating target with these techniques. Its so easy to shoot people out of the sky like this. You literally have nowhere to go once youre airborne. And when I see people jumping or launching through the air, I know they're likely gonna slide on their landing so I'm ready to track that movement too.
The only thing I use these pads for, is close quarters combat.. I'll throw it down at my opponent's feet and launch them into the air, and then shoot them down. Doing it indoors works great because it's disorienting and gives you the opportunity down them, or escape if necessary.
i hear what you are saying and i agree. I wouldnt encourage anyone to use this as their primary choice of mobility. but what i showed in this video is better than how most people use the crash pads.
also throwing them at the enemies feet is def a power play and i love doing that!
this video was simply to show people how to actually use them if they dont have a choice :)

Super helpful MF. Surprised you didn’t mention throwing it forward while just walking or running, and running to hit it and blast off too

u can throw one right behind a closed door inside a building you're hiding, I did that once inside a cache room and got a kill cos the guy got stuck bouncing in place while l shot at him

Crash pads are so good when used properly 👍
And pretty common to find so I guess I'm gonna place them right in my inventory 🙂

Is that done with 1 crash pad or multipile crash pads
This particular example starts with one crash pad. On the map I had infinite pads but yeah you start with 1!
I used it to send a dummy into the storm for a w.

Use this as a just double tap jump button
I like this option but there’s still times where it only sends you mostly vertical and not horizontal which leaves you vulnerable if you’re actually trying to get away from someone. I have seen it send people flying though! Appreciate the comment!
@@MFBuddy_YT ehhh I mean yeah but I think it’s really preference. But for clarification, I’m saying use your strategy but instead of using a different finger, you double tap jump as you look straight down like you say and you’ll do the pad jump exactly how you are using it. Just a slightly different method of execution.

Great video but the crash pads are still trash in comparision to every other mobility item in the game ...
If they were not bugged and glitchy this season they be better ...
During last resort season they worked perfectly...
Only reason to pick this item up? You aint found any other mobility yet
they def are not good compared to the others for sure! and i agree. i miss crash pads from chapter 3. those things were bananas!
But yes crashpads prob shouldnt be a main mobility choice, but this will help people feel comfortable to use them if its all they got!
