It's interesting with sea/water birds that the mode of propulsion is either front flippers (eg. penguins and great auks) or hind legs (loons, grebes, and cormorants). Was there a bird who had both forms of propulsion? Like an avian version of pliosaurs/plesiosaurs; in that all four limbs are used to swim through water?
