Marvin's story is literally just how far a man can be pushed until he finally breaks. He got screwed so many times by the city, and the neighboring businesses he finally just broke.

I love the Killdozer story. It goes to show what happens when a city bullies and takes advantage of a humble man until he's pushed past his limits and takes back what they stole from him
The problem is, Marvin could have take the lives of innocent people who did him no harm.

@@ompatel8988 This story has been changed a lot to make him seem like an anti-hero. He tore down many homes of innocent people, with one being the home of an older couple. Not only that, but he nearly killed someone in the destruction. He had many mental problems before this happened. Your perspective changes a lot when you read what actually happened.
@@501thtrooper4 I’m not calling him a hero, but an Anti Hero is the perfect title because it implied that he was a flawed person with perfect intentions molded by society.
@@501thtrooper4 His actions are not valid, but what they did to him, wasn’t right. Greed breaks people, even those not even connected to it. Like that poor couple.
I low key have a ton of respect for this dude. He wasn't going to let these people destroy him without getting at least a small measure of revenge.
and tried but failed to hurt a lot of innocent people in the process. His attempt to blow up the propane tanks and perhaps incinerate a Granby neighborhood where senior housing was located certainly suggests a rather extreme indifference to killing.
The town screwed him & he snapped. It's not like he woke up one morning thinking "boy it'd be fun to bulldoze my town". It's been a while since I read about him but I'm pretty sure he went after the property of the people who screwed him; not "innocent" people.

I’ve heard this story about the KillDozer before, it’s wild. All Marvin needed to make it a tank is some machine guns or a main cannon.

I live in northern Colorado and this guy is a damn hero around here, a legend.
What happened to him is so unbelievably crazy, it's like something out of the most fantastic, fictional made for TV movie that you almost can't believe the crap this town pulled on him.
Killdozer is an unfortunate nickname considering he went out of his way to make sure he DIDN'T kill anyone.
The perfect example of you can only push a person so far.

During my day I found myself, stop what I was doing, to think about Savage things I could do to the like button🤭🤣😂
I've found the secret: right at 00:19, we see a hint at some masterful wordplay, and a pun worth of The Bard himself. As Mr Ballen leans to stage left (his right, not our right) we see a steeple of a building which is an obvious nod to the Eiffel tower. Why? It's because it was held together by rivets, and this tale was very much, a riveting story. Well done, Mr Ballen.

Ah yes! The home made tank. Great ingenuity and craftsmanship. When Fort Knox was The Home of the Armor, every now and then someone would crack and steal a tank for a destructive joy ride. The end result, usually the same - suicide once the tank was stuck, disabled or out of fuel.
