@@azriazhar6288 I agree as a setter you can down ball to the hitters so they can time it right and get ready for the approach and hit it instead of just throwing the ball up
I agree that a setter would probably be a better choice in general, however with the amount of contestants, they probably wanted to insure that each person got 3 perfect “sets” from the tosser. At highschool level, there’s no chance a setter (even the best) could guarantee equal perfect sets for every one of them at that pace, and it wouldn’t be efficient for the setter to say “oops sorry bad set, go back I’ll set you again”.
That 3:30 dude has bounce. It’s just I think he just started playing cause his jump timing, swing and body language is way off. White guy going first was clear the winner. He bounced that 3rd round spike with intensity none like any other.
Disappointed my hs didn't have guys vb, so I played beach which helped me increase my vertical to 36". Use to travel to beach tournaments so much fun back then. Even grass tournaments had good turn outs
Wait? How high you can reach above yourself? Or the actual distance from how far your feet are to the ground. Because 36 inches off the ground is crazy.
@kindplanet802 36" was common among the guys I played with and against. When I was coaching all my players wanted to know my vertical so we measured it. Peak was 36" off the ground. I'm 5 6 , I'm able to grab basketball rim . 30"+ imo is avg pro athletes are 40"+
@@davidd483 36inches off the ground is crazy. Your upper chest is literally meeting the top of the volleyball net. I’m still playing Highschool volleyball, and the best player is around your height with just a vert of 30 inches.
High school volleyball level?... man they have such a bright future!
its sad, when you lose you most likely wont be professional level.
3:11 HE WON
If only they had boys vball at my high school... 😊 Fun to watch!
that short guy in the white tshirt was craazzzyyy
Why didn’t they use a setter? So trash trying to time your run up from someone throwing it up
underhand toss is actually easier to stay consistent
@@Kenatie bullcrap. Even as a setter i feel bad for them for not having a good window to time their attacks

@@thekaidishow I agree!
This was difficult. They should have a setter ready and pass the ball to the setter for an easy hit. That way you can really see who’s who
no the guy throwing it s was more consistent than a setter that could screw up multiple times

I thought these guys were gonna be hella scrubby, but JEEEZ, first dude lookin like ryan duross
Nah bruh that number 6 guy can jump insanely high, timing is a lot harder for those guys
lol that's me, I play middle so I ever only run quick attacks so the ball being that high was hella weird
Nick Robles got shafted with that bad toss at the end

shouldve had a setter. dude tossing the balls was messing up the hitters timing imo
I’m so jealous 😢
jealous of what look how low tht net is
@@Oppz94 thats not low its just not national level?
@@Oppz94 It's clearly 2,43m net, they are just tall and bouncy.
@@Vadim-hv6sk nah that aint 2m43

Kid with the gt cuts going ham
1:55 won big time
dude they jump so high but idk why they cant hit 10ft with those hops
It's cause they're going for power and bounce, not to actually hit high or spike practically. It's easier to slam the ball if it's lower and in front
This was on the level of our little private christian high school.
Men’s net?
Yes 243cm
id win this so easily
A digging competition would’ve been cooler. 10 random balls thrown/initiated vs 1 dude by themself.
This fun but it gets very samesy
First guy wins.
4:02 girl in the back gets slight headache lol
1:57
Nah Bc the guy that kept missing In the first 3 mins Lowk was annoying me 😭😭😭
my man at 2:22 great, approach timing is just a tad off but he has a great arm swing and endless vertcal.
The first guy def should've won, he just got fucked over by the "setter" in the second round...
W niko
Hard to watch a few of them with funky footwork and form 😅
Could’ve won 500$ sad😢
Great idea, horrible execution
they are so not good
