That fridge is amazing! I was a teenager in the 60's and many homes had this fridge. Let me tell you, that thing will run and be running decades from now! They don't build them like that anymore! Great score.

That Fridge is the coolest thing ever!!! the best feature to me is the swing outs. What a wonderful find. I use to watch Farmhouse on Boone then stopped, came across Our oily House she got me when it came to the Essential oils. That fridge is so epic! It goes so well with your style! 🍋 I have a vintage turquoise fridge found at an antique mall that still works like a charm too! It’s quite small so we don’t use it as our main fridge, but it’s amazing how well built things used to be!
I myself am from 1960 lol and I have never seen a fridge with shelves/drawers that swivel out like that. It must have been a really high-end piece.

I’m with you-why did they stop making fridges like that- it is so much better than a modern one where you have to fight to get to the things at the back of the shelves. I always find the plastic drawers end up getting cracked at some point.😞

You got a gem in that fridge! We have one just like it at work. It was there 18 years ago when I started. It’s never been serviced or given us any issues… I’m new to your channel.. love your old soul 💗
Our house was built in 1906, but cheaply 'remodeled' around the 70s with junky wall board and drop ceilings, and everything covered in nasty carpet! we have torn out all the carpet, found hardwood flooring, and taken out some of the drop ceiling and wall board where we could, taking it back to original, and it's so so much nicer!!
The fridge and yes the appliances back in the day were made to last! Good for you!

It's fabulous! We live in a house built in 1969 and instead of fighting and trying to modernize it (some things already were/are) we just try to work with the house itself. It has been so fun. I love your fridge!

I love that refrigerator! We never had one like that! That one is amazing! My parents had a Frigdare, not frost free freezer on top, I remember my Mom having to get the ice build up out a lot! Love your pantry!

Love the fridge! We had a very similar one when I was a child. I loved that fridge. And of course it still runs. The new expensive one I have now will never last as long as that old fridge.

my mother had the same pantry type cabinet in her kitchen, all of her cabinets were custom built for her small kitchen and she loved that cabinet.

I’m not sure what you are.. a modern hip couple or a vintage, want everything old..looking at the Pyrex bowls and old energy draining fridge. I’m glad you like your lime green kitchen but honestly it’s hard for my eyes which sounds silly but it does.
Love that fridge...and just like that is appealing to you but might not be to another, same as what folks find in all thier possessions. It's not "dumb" to keep something because someone finds it nice or whatever thier reason is. The "minimalist" mind and lifestyle is not for everyone and that's ok but calling the other mindset "dumb" is not very nice. Just do you but hopefully without referring to others lifestyles names.
You're right - I shouldn't have said that! What doesn't make sense for my home, does make sense for others.
