This is from the Manual: Horse Quality: Horse (Green)，Fine Horse（Blue）， Awakening Fine Horse（Purple），Heavenly Horse （Orange）, Awakening Heavenly Horse(Red). You can obtain Horse, Fine Horse and Heavenly Horse through Taming and Mating. Purple Horses are not Heavenly but Awakening Fine horses and Yellow ones which says orange but it is not, Heavenly.
Heavenly horses are red quality, the purples and golds are rares and elites respectively. Also the knock off mechanic has confirmed to not be 100% id'ed as purple or better. Blues and even greens with specific weaknesses (like dull) will also buck you off with low quality reins. A good way to check if you have the skill is the specialty made dry fodder. On blues and greens it will give 5-10%+ taming regardless of level whereas the purples and higher will hardly move unless you are actively riding/stable training them. I have been able to find that through trial and error the purple+ horses in the wild will often be solid but CAN spawn in paint as well (large patches not the spots) and they will usually spawn in the more deadly areas of the map. (Any place you need specific items to survive like the miasma, cold, and heat)
@@BurakBEK I think its primarily done that way because of limitations for item ids. In the game itself the npcs and horses share the same id colors but for some reason (maybe just to shorten extend the results) the fair will list purples/reds as heavenly
@@exccdfh265 Hey man, you should check the west side of the map north to south. Start from the desert, go around snowy mountain area and then swamp. There is no specific spawn point for them they share the same spawn as other horses
How do you get an npc which Tames for you or what did you do there in the end. Have no clue bout horse taming but I don’t wanna tame horses for 3h just to have a heavenly with bad stats. Can u explain ?
You can assign an npc to a stable and then train them in taming by having them train low level horses (gray/green) As their taming gets better you can use higher quality horses to raise it even more. A good npc with dragons in taming will usually get to purple quality (750+ after about 4-5 taming sessions.) Fair warning but keep food on the npc and grass in your stable or once the training is done the horse and npc will starve out. It takes between 18 and 16 hours per tame and will cost between 500 and 1k copper depending on the quality of the horse and the npc's taming level.
@Avariea explained quite frankly :) In the end of the video you can see me, riding the horse towards my stable and with radial menu I put the horse in the stable. After that it automatically starts subduing inside, if you put an NPC it will make the process faster depending on the skill level of the NPC.
@@BurakBEK okay so I Dont Even Need an npc. Just find a heavenly horse and bring it to your stable and it will automatically tame there even without npc. Idc if it’s 24h as long as i don’t need to do it actively

I always thought about it until I heard that you can't put them in a large cage. But I am thinking about trying to knock them out and force feed that with fodder which gives obedience. But again, it will probably take too much time. Taming them in a stable is way easier since you don't have to do anything.

Thanks for the info, I am aware of the red color but Fair lists yellows and purples as Heavenly too, is it not correct?

Have you tried knocking them out and hauling them back to your base on the large cage? Or does that cause them to have bad traits?

What's the color different on the horse gender symbol means? Got a horse from desert area and the gender symbol are orange color.
If you mean rarity color of orange/red, it is heavenly

First purple horse I tamed was black and brown. So that's not true about heavenly horses.
