The models that have the lever wind, are a bit difficut to wind with the camera hanging by astrap. The strap impedes winding in one stroke. The lever on the s has no complications like the others.
I have not had much of a chance to use it yet, but I like the look and solid build. I think I will stick with the 50mm lens but I cant wait to try it out.
You can fit many Russian (soviet) and German Carl Zeiss lenses on the Nikon RFs...BUT the focusing ring does not line up exactly. Using wide angle lenses you are safe, but on 50mm and longer you are better sticking with the native mount.

Any time you want to discuss the exact shutter speed dial would be greatful. Thanks for doing this looking forward to more on it.
Nikon please build a panoramic mirrorless based on that design 📸
That would be great! Good luck getting them to listen.
I have an S and I like it a lot. It is kind of slow to use compared to otter cameras but I always thought that was the appeal of using film.

I just got a nikon s. Love it. Would you know if I can use the russian 35 mm lens on this camera ? Thank you for your review.

What about light sequels on the damn thing? Thanks!
I really want to hunt Black Paint one, but the naming just so annoying to find, when you type eBay it just keep pop up SLR Nikon or Nikon S2.
There are few Black S (1s) available as only about 20 were made by Nikon. All you find on ebay will be repaints.
