Hi Rajas, Very nice video and thanks for uploading. I have a RX100 and I am going to open the engine mostly to inspect the connecting rod (giving slight noise) Also I will be replacing the clutch plates. This video will surely help. Good job bro.

Clean the entire engine with the brake cleaner or any degreaser not rub with the hacksaw blade
Use mapgas to heat up the case and the bearings will drop straight in. As has already been said never ever hit a bearing the way you are. And never force the crankshaft in as you did. It will throw the crank out of balance. Use a puller or heat a steel bar up and place it on the bearing for a couple of minutes and the crank will drop straight in with no damage.Why have you fitted a gasket between the two crankcase halves, it does not need one. I could go on with all that is wrong with this build. I suggest you put the hammer down, buy some proper tools and learn how to assemble an engine correctly.

He did not know how to fix a crank bearing and crank shaft..properly with proper tools.. Its ironic..tragidy now a days..

I could be a good video if you use appropriate tool for right part of engine not to use hammer on bearings use dead hammer or use cold method or hot method .overall good efforts but need to improve it please.
My mechanic says, gasket shouldn't be used for crankcase. It increases the distance between the two halves and creates problems like power loss and gear shifting. Please put your views.
Sir Yamaha Rx 100, enging, me compreshar kaam lag raha hai, reesh, chor ane par band ho jati, hai, ring piction, dalane, se tik ho jayegi,.
The 2 fork shifts for gears 1st,2nd and 3rd are identical?. Same thing?. My vehicle have gear slipping.. one of this fork shift got damaged.it is hard to find this part.is it really same? The numbers showing on it is different.

bro you have installed your gear sprocket idle other way round..change it before it damages itself along with your gear kick
+Aditya Roy yup you r right ....it's the other way around ....but its a spur gear so should not be any problem.....but let me confirm this...and I'll update you on this

Aditya Roy check all wiring connections. It happend with me missed connecting cdi wire.
mohd saad i know the fault is with the wiring, but i am no wiring expert.. have to take it to a mechanic
You need not be a wiring expert just to check for any dissconnections or loose connection. Follow the wiring diagram if needed. If the bike was running fine before restoring the it might be just a minor problem.

My doubt is that, do the crank and its moving parts of RX get sufficient lubricant from the 3% 2T oil we mix with petrol ?

+Anita Bika I'm running no 4 .....I don't know the prices ....but my advice would be if you have oem block on your bike then don't replace ....coz the one which you get in spares r not of OEM quality ...so my advice will be insert a sleeve in your original block and use that ...once u insert a sleeve you can again start from std size piston.

Rajas Gadkari I was removed the engine from the frame.... I needs to replace small sprocket, how can we remove and replaced it
+JAYAKRISHNAN bala use rod or a screwdriver and hold it against the magneto. stuck the other end in sprocket teeth, so that it locks the sprocket in place for you to unscrew the nut.

it should cost around 2000 - 2300 rs , including labor .....duration not more than 2 days.

Coz in many cases reed valve is the real culprit...ppl change crank bearings n engine bearing but it doesnt helps like in your case...reed valve usually costs around 450 -500...dont buy aftermarkets use orignal one.
Why hammer the bearings and cases? Use a nylon hammer instead

Hi there, like to tell you something , that is you actually forgot tightening all the nuts with a proper torque wrench giving exact value, gauge has to checked in piston ring, and like many more things where has to be done, the performance comes after all measurements.
You did lots of mistakes while fitting like bearing, clutch plates, friction plates.
Plz next time use of proper tool's and then make video.
