Thanks for this video ❤can you explain more on the basics misic theory i dont understand how can i know which chord to play next like if i start with a major 7th then which chord i must play next
Grootman I m learning a lot from you all I m asking for now is a toturial for mixing & Mastering vocals like balancing everything from beat elements & vocals
Im all caught up but id like to understand how to build chords for the whole song separate from intro the chorus and verse parts and yow to properly appergiate the chords in this genre
It is sort of like knowing that after letter A comes letter B(alphabetically) The structure is always the same. In each key say key C chord 6 will always be minor Even in key A chord 6 will always be minor So you just have to know which are major, which are minor then you'll be good to go
Basically each minor or major scale has 8 notes... Hence why we label them with numbers. So each chord is built up with a certain combination of the notes. The standard being 1 3 5 which would be C E G in a C major scale because they are those numbers in that scale. And for a minor it's 1 flat 3 5. Which would be C E flat G. You flat the 3rd for a minor chord. This is the foundation. And as you get better you add more notes on top of it. So you add the 7 to make a major 7th... Or 9th, 11th, 13th. You can leave some notes to make it more musical and experiment with swapping notes on your left and right hand. Something that will help is voice leading... Because your chords will be leading into each other by having multiple similar notes. There's still much more... But recap for c major 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 C D E F G A B C Major, minor, minor, major, dominant 7,minor, diminished, octave major Cmaj Dmin Emin Fmaj G7 Amin Bdim Cmaj So instead of seeing just letters musicians use the number system as it's easier and more efficient 👌🏾
Check vids here on RUclips about piano music theory then you won't have a problem anymore, but you should have a Midi-controller 🎹 so you can practise & after some time you won't have to think about it you'll just be playing freely I'm a church intermediate piano player by the way✌

So how do you make Jazz Chord Progressions??like Kelvin Momo & Stixx
use a 2 5 1 (meaning the 2nd, 5th and 1st chords) progression in any key. For example in C major: D minor (DFA), G major (GBD), C Major (CEG)
Bro please assist with a bassline hacks for amapiano
But do a Music Theory series for amapiano though from beginner to advanced!!
❤❤
Thank you for watching.
More videos....
The 5 isnt a dominant chord because you add an extra note. its a dominant even in triad form (GBD). When its GBDF, it becomes a dominant 7th chord.
What is an opmented chord?
Thank you for making it much easier to make chords those who dont understand will have to meet you half way🫡🫡🫡
how do you know which keys in the scale are good as minor or major chords like how you said the 1 is a Major
It is sort of like knowing that after letter A comes letter B(alphabetically)
The structure is always the same. In each key say key C chord 6 will always be minor
Even in key A chord 6 will always be minor
So you just have to know which are major, which are minor then you'll be good to go
Plz make another one king a bit lost

There's still much more...
But recap for c major
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
C D E F G A B C
Major, minor, minor, major, dominant 7,minor, diminished, octave major
Cmaj Dmin Emin Fmaj G7 Amin Bdim Cmaj
So instead of seeing just letters musicians use the number system as it's easier and more efficient 👌🏾
