Quick question? Why is there only one full live show performance of Kajagoogoo performing with Limahl from 1983? You would figure there would some bootlegs out there since they played so many live shows with Limahl before they let him go.
There are actually 2 full live shows recorded with Limahl. One is the video of Hammersmith Odeon performance on 31.05.1983 and it is available here: ruclips.net/video/rA9g0WCz6sw/видео.html . Second one is another BBC Transcription Service vinyl: In Concert 310, which was remastered and is today widely available as audio on CD. MP3 etc. That was a concert from the day before the video:- 30.05.1983, same venue. Why nothing more? I have no idea, there are probably several factors. Contracts complexity, relatively short span of band existence (about 7 months from the moment of first success, 1 year from the moment of signing with EMI) and so on...
This is one of the few items I am desperate for. I have a CD bootleg of it but I want an original LP Just out of interest, do you have the Japanese edit of the Lion's Mouth video with the voodoo doll scenes and the extra long flamethrower scenes? It was up on a Japanese video site many years ago but the site got taken over and the video disappeared.
It's a concert taped off the radio, having a flac will give you absoultely no better quality than you will get if you just download it here to an mp3 file. Flac is good for pristine studio recordings, but for live stuff it makes no differnece, you can't hear any difference, an any audio snob who tells you they can is full of $hit
